We were surprised to find a Japanese restaurant in this small Italien village. Nice Sushi and friendly family that run the restaurant. If you get tired of Italian food Sakura is a good choice!

From a Finnish tourist visiting Italy: A cozy, little place. A real hidden gem in Itri. I came there to eat with my Italian boyfriend. The waitress was a very bubbly and a cute persona. The menu is available in Italian and in English. There...are also pictures of the food in the menu. I don't know if the staff speaks a lot of English because my boyfriend did all the talking (in Italian, of course) but I'm sure they understand what you order, even if you speak in English. We ordered takoyaki, two plates of different sushi, noodles with vegetables, fried chicken, white rice and ramen soup (yes, we were hungry!! :D). The food came pretty fast one by one. The waitress was nice and gave us tips about what is best to eat first, the right way to dip sushi into the soy sauce and other useful tips. We followed her tips. The food tasted absolutely fantastic! The taste was so rich. The takoyaki especially was so good! I don't have any complaints or anything bad to say about the place or the food. Everything was perfect! We stayed to order also dessert: dorayaki and fried chocolate ice cream. Both were a nice, sweet treat :) Our bill was 47€, a very reasonable price for the big amount and high quality food we received. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! If I ever visit Italy again, I will surely come back to eat here again. The only thing I would change is the music. They're playing the most popular pop hits, but I think Japanese pop would suit the restaurant better than American. But overall a fantastic place: happy and friendly staff members, fantastic food, a small cozy place, reasonable prices.More

I visited this place a year ago while traveling the area. Just happened to walk by when they were open and wanted something different. There did is phenomenal and they have Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Italian to include Sushi. Great selection of beers and wine. They...they did not have English menus and the owners did not speak English. But I was able to find items through their pictured menu. A few days later I introduced my son, who lives in the area, to the place. He started going there often and taking other English speakers there. The owner started learning more English and soon developed English versions of the menu. They are very welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend you try this place, especially if you are a fan of these types of food. I frequently eat Thai, Chinese and Sushi and this place does it all very well. Last trip I ate there about four times. This trip I have already visited 5 times and plan to return several more times. The picture below is fried squid, not onion rings, although they were about that size. Perfectly grief, tender and not greasy.More
