We had a 4 day stay in Albert last year and we decided to come here to eat. We couldn't of made a better choice as far as I'm concerned. Fair prices, good staff and good food.

We came across the Corner Pub on a wet day in November and found a haven. Very popular with tourists and local with a good selection of beers and wines. Very busy but everyone was served quickly and without fuss.

Visited pub twice in two days. This is a pub that thrives under pressure. Staff are cheerful, even under pressure. Coped admirably with a school party and a full dining room on our first visit and was less busy on our second. On both occasions the food was hot, tasty and well presented and service was quick. Meals were large... More

We stayed here for the weekend in order to pay our respects to great uncles who had died in WW1 a hundred years ago. It was a self contained apartment above the restaurant. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The owner and his wife were very welcoming, and couldn't do enough to ensure our brief stay was comfortable. There... More

We went there for dinner with a party of 26, and were shortly joined by a party of over 50 young people on a school trip. No problem, the two parties were accommodated on the first floor (a bit cramped), whilst individual groups of diners were served downstairs. Our party certainly had not pre-ordered, but "le patron", his wife and... More

My friend and I used this restaurant twice whilst we were staying in Albert for a trip to the Somme. Albert is a charming little town and we were made to feel very welcome in Le Corner's. It had a nice atmosphere with a bit of life. The food was good and the wine prices very reasonable even with a... More

I phoned this restaurant & it went into answerphone so l hung up without leaving a message. Within 2 minutes of putting the phone down, they called me back, not once but twice due to a small problem with language (his wife speaks excellent English & he doesn't!) Within a couple of minutes l had our table booked for an... More

I was looking for parking and lunch. I got both in the centre of the city. I don't usually use pubs - but hey! Im pleased I did. At first I did not know what to do, so I waited and nothing happened, so I sat at a table, read the menu, waited and all of a sudden a large... More
