It's part of a stop on a packaged tour to Etna. While they have some interesting honey products, it's overpriced. I think you can buy local honey much more reasonably elsewhere. Same with the olive oil. We went into a "salumeria" and bought absolutely fantastic locally produced olive oil for 9 euros per liter. Here they sell it at over... More

A great tasting experience of some of Cantania's typical products. The small town, the location with a grape arbor of concord grapes..all invites one to sit and snack the afternoon away!

Came here on the way to Mount Etna, nice welcome break, never seen so many honey based products, and we got to sample most of them, so nice in fact that I bought some honey and pistachio crème, and a bottle of wine, looking forward to having that with Christmas dinner.

What an amazing place! A short drive from Taormina, about 30 - 40 mins and you are in the foothills of Etna. You can buy the best local honey at very reasonable prices as well as wine and olive oil. They produce the honey on the premises and have five or six varieties including honey mixed with fruit, which is... More

A staff member gave us a brief lesson about honey production and various products made from honeycombs. They had many honeys to taste, and I love real honey! I purchased honey, as well as some other products. They were very nice and friendly. Please note that you should pack your honey in your checked bag. Someone in our group thought... More

We stopped here as part of a tour to Etna with Cassata Travel. Of course, it is just one of those stops that make the tour people a bit of commission from the sales that inevitably follow. That's fine. I was happy to try lots of different things and buy some jars of delcious pesto and honey. Well worth the... More

We stopped at this small shop on our way to Mt. Etna thru a tour with SicilyLife. The first shop area had honey and jam tastings. All were available for purchase, as well as soaps and nic-nacs too. I didn't realize there was another tasting room in the back until after I made my purchase in the front room. The... More
