It is the place when you feel yourself like you travell with the time machine. You pass the parking with all these modern shiny cars and enter to the world of I would say 19 Century with small wooden houses and wild nature. I can't say it was the best meal I ever tried, maybe because I was not hungry... More

Excellent ethnic cuisine. You can order salad that named "indigirka" or frozen slice of fish "stroganina". Its very tasty national food of Yakuts. You strongly have to visit this restaurant when you will be in Yakutsk

Chochur Muran is located outside the city of Yakutsk. It is a complex of several wooden buildings including a restaurant, a lodge, and a sauna. They also keep Husky dogs on the site (in a special compartment). The main building where the restaurant is located has several rooms and 'authentic' interior with many historical items on display. We had coffee... More

This is a really unique place with a wow factor. The decor is rustic and interesting, with a disused helicopter outside. Staff was very polite and friendly, but unfortunately the main course took one hour to arrive. I ordered the horse stew. It was tasty but tough. The borsh soup was tasty. The menu is very comprehensive, full of interesting... More

Chochur-Muran is a restaurant situated in the place surrounded by green hills. We have been there to see ice sculptures exhibition in the stock inside the mountain nearby. Despite it was June the exhibition was working. Afterwards we have decided to have food in restaurant. Food is based on traditional Yakut cuisine. It means it is non-veg completely. Fish, meat,... Helpful staff. Interesting local Yakutsia dishes including fermented cow's milk, frozen fish, and horse meat for the adventurous. A few km out of town, near the Kingdom of Permafrost, 300 rouble taxi trip, but we'll worth it.

Cossack style lodge with lot of Moose heads and authentic Yakutian accommodation upstairs. We ate horse and reindeer meat plus a frozen raw white fish called (chyr) served with raw sliced white onions washed down with forest tea. Was all good.
