Stopped here just by chance and wasn't disappointed. Good fish food served right on the beach front. Don't get fooled by the rough ambience: food is tasty & clean ;-)

Stopped for lunch. 6 adults. We ordered different dishes from the Fried Fish (the best so far) to Ceviche. No complaints at all. A highlight was the chips and salsa laced with fresh crab meat that came to the table. Watch out for the fresh habenero. Definitely a keeper.

Had lunch here after finishing our flamingo boat tour. The place is pretty basic and has a nice view on the beach. The food is average and pricey. Staff were friendly though.

On the beach, this place has lost a bit the kind of edge it had some years ago. But still it is a great place for a lunch after the Falmingo tour. Beach is amazing, service very good and the shrimps à la diabla were fantastic. Good option for families, kids being able to play on the beach while food... More

This is a restaurant located in the town of Celestun and on the beach. You can choose sitting under the roof or out on the sand under a palapa. Service is quick. The beer is very cold. We had the fried whole fish and the shrimp quasadillas. Both were very good. We have had the quasadillas before and these were... More

I came here for lunch. It's next to Los pampanos. The service is quite nice. I had the ceviche which was actually good. The also have recently catch fish and they can prepare it anyway that you want to. Prices are quite similar to other seafood restaurants in town.

Beware, they work with two menus. Both in Spanish, but one for the tourists adding 10-20% to the Mexican menu prices!!! Food is good though.

La Playita was recommended by a local. It's on the beach, we sat a table where we could dig our feet into the sand, very nice location. But the fried plantains were greasy, the breaded shrimp was overcooked and so was my husband's grilled fillet. The vegetables were also limp and overdone. The beer was served nicely chilled. Service was... More

This rustic restaurant has a great view on the beach, and our fish dishes were tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately though, extra dishes were added to our bill and the 'adding up' was also wrong by 110 pesos which seemed like an organized scam when then waiter just told us the overall amount and only handed over the bill when we...
