Lovely place on the beach with friendly staff. Family run place and I felt safe enough to try the brem (rice wine). The Pelecing Kangkung was one of the best I ate in Indonesia and the fish Soto wasn't bad either.

I went to the warung because another guest of my hostel recommended it to me. I had rice with fried fish and vegetables for 30k IDR, the view is great and the drinks are also cheap if you compare it to the restaurants at this spot

Pros - seaview restaurant Cons - Worst food we had in Indonesia - Asked for spicy dishes. Dish arrived without any chillis. Waiter just gave us a bottle with chili sauce. Later we did get additional sambal (after asking again) - Soto ayam looked and tasted like mie goreng with water. Very very very much salt was used. It had... More

This warung is a little different to the average ones offering the same dishes, the food here is more authentic and very good. Prices are not bad either, the BBQ fish looked great but we didnt try it.

We stopped at this place last night, having spotted the large fish which had just been brought ashore by a spear fisherman. Thinking, nothing could be more fresh than that we asked if we could try some. Although it was early (about 5.30) and they had only just started the fire they said it would be ok provided we were... Best bbq fish, fresh and cheap! Have not really tried anything else because the fish has been so good. Fish curry was tasty and can not go wrong with rice dishes. Friendly service.

We visited this Warung many times while on our first visit to Gili Air and found the Quality of food very good. So we decided to go back on our next visit. Unfortunately the food we ordered was half the serving as last time and tasted terrible. We were very disappointed and did not return.

We lazed many a happy day in this place. Nice comfy place to sit, good local food, cheap, no pressure to constantly buy and proximity to good snorkelling, made this our most visited place on Gili Air. We enjoyed curries, nasi goreng, nasi campur and tempe parapek.

I got very sick after eating in this place... I don't recommend you to go there. Has a nice view, but not worth it.
