A fantastic traditional restaurant. Best visited with a small group 4 or more. Need to book at weekends. The starters just keep coming and will do till either you say stop or you have had the full range, great for sharing bit like tapas on steroids. Qualtiy and variety great with efficient and friendly staff. We have been a few... More

This is a fantastic restaurant in the Obidos-Caldas da Rainha area for group event based on traditional Portuguese food. The starters constitute a "fixed" set of at least a dozen small dishes (including cold and hot entries) - simply a must! Then, the waiter will probably suggest that the group orders 1 main meal for each 3 to 4 people... More

I went on a Saturday lunch time and this place was busy but not too crowded. I order a alheira for starter that is made at the house. It was Devine. I also was left with a starter table with olives, chouriço,cheese, and some pate and butter a basket of three different breads, and i must tell you about the... More

We have been to this restaurant many times, and always enjoyed the excellent food. The selection of appetisers are so varied and delicious that you worry about having room for your mains! What makes Albertinos different, though is that the friendly welcome and service makes every visit seem like a special occasion!

Twelve of us visited this great authentic Portuguese restaurant for Sunday lunch. It is not easy to find but is well worth the effort. The starters comprised of a total of fifteen different small dishes. Those you eat you pay for, those you choose not to eat are not charged. The main courses were excellent value and very tasty, although... More

I am of Portuguese descendent and live in NYC and because of work I travel all over the world and eat at high end restaurants almost everyday and have grown a pallet for different ethnic foods and expect nothing but the best specially when taking out clients and vendors. But because of my Portuguese background I love my Portuguese food... More

Food was 50-50. Atmosphere very authentic. However my husband octopus was under cooked ...and I ended up with cross contamination as the cooking surface and utensils must have been used on the fish or seafood aswell. :( Really not well today. Not entirely their fault as cross contamination is not as stringent here is Europe. End of the day I'll... More

A bit off the travelled paths but signposted so not difficult to find is this little gem of a restaurant serving interesting and tasty local food at reasonable prices in the village of Imaginario. Starters are a bit more than on offer elsewhere including several little tapas type dishes of seafood and meats and veg which you can accept or... More

Had a steak Medium, came out all bloody and although like meat pink, cannot cope with blood floating meat. Excellent experience from start to the end. Typical portuguese food and very symphatic and friendly service. There are a wide number of starters (very good) as sausage, sardines, ham, octopus. The desert (hot natas) are very good and the Ginja/Moscatel in the end...
