It was the Palm Sunday when we ate here, so I'm not sure that it is typical. The meals were o.k., but heated - because it was cold inside.

We tried this restaurant after a long morning china shopping in Deruta and having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. It's true, it is a lorry driver's café and also the Carabinieri eat there too but the food is delicious. I had large spaghetti with truffles and my mother had delicious lasagne with no tomato sauce, also with truffles and... More

If you are shopping like mad for ceramics in Deruta and the clock strikes 1:00pm all the stores close. Time for lunch. We asked our shopkeeper where we should eat, and he quickly recommended Asso id Coppe...”All the truck drivers eat there. You can’t go wrong.” So midway between Sud and Nord exits for Deruta on the E45 is a... More

Description
We asked for a good typical local place in Deruta [ceramic production center of Italy] and got this recommendation. It was excellent. Described as a truck stop and we know how truckers pick the best food. Very Italian, we heard no English although the wait staff spoke a little English. Reasonable prices and good tasting home Italian cooking.
