We have been here a number of times over the years and the food this year was certainly the best we have had. Manolis, at the entrance was very... More

Unfortunately we only decided to eat here on our last night. BIG regrets as the food was fantastic. I ordered spaghetti Neapolitan which was just tomato pasta. It sounds very basic - which it was, but thats what I wanted, but the sauce was just SO yummy! It was a tomato and garlic sauce which had the perfect amount of... More

We had a usual salad starter and for the main my wife ordered swordfish and i ordered a kleftico. The mains came out and i was given some greaseproof paper filled with scraps of lamb peas and carrots... More

We enjoyed some excellent food at Tomato and Pepper, especially the kleftico. The waiters were patient enough to let me practise the Greek I have been trying to learn at evening classes but this did not impede the service! The taverner is below street level so diners are not bothered by the fumes from passing vehicles. We returned several times... More

Over the years this restaurant has traded under various names. We have been there from time to time both as family and later as a couple. There's nothing actually wrong with the food but we've always felt disappointed overall. The menu is much the same as the other tavernas in Afitos but Tomato and Pepper just doesn't have the same... After visiting 5 different restaurants we decided that this offered the best overall. We found the menu more to our liking and we felt it just had the edge over the others

We ate here once during our holiday but we won't be back Although polite the staff appeared to be rushing around for no reason The topping on the cake or salad in my case - was a caterpillar !
