Visited for coffee & croissant mid morning. Served instant coffee brusquely, then while still enjoying our coffee she tried to clear the table, succeeding the second time, while still trying to enjoy our elevenses. Unfriendly & rude. Crossing this one off our list.

Really good value breakfast in an area that would normally be more expensive. Based on this will try a main meal one evening next time we are here.

My wife and I had breakfast here 3 times last week. What great food and superb value for money. My only concern is: chips for breakfast? Doesn't work for me The rest was excellent. Service prompt and friendly. Thanks. Highly recommended.

Came upon El Ancla because Emma's was closed on a Wednesday night. It looked lively and well frequented so we decided to give it a try. The wait staff were very charming and very polite. Starters came out in stages as there seemed to be a mix up with what we wanted them. I ordered King Prawns and the lady... More

Have eaten here every time we have been to Lanzarote , breakfast , lunch and dinner , and it was always good. Not sure if it has changed hands but we had lunch yesterday and I have to say it was the worst meal we have ever had on the island . The fish crochets were greasy and overcooked and... More

Can't understand the bad reviews on here. We have visited here numerous times and every time we get the same service and quality food. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is always awesome and the prices are very good too. Definitely recommend

Visited El Ancla several times both for lunch and Dinner. The was a great choice on their Snack Menu at lunchtime and the Night Menu & guality/ presentation / service was " second to none" All staff were welcoming, friendly & courteous and went beyond " their call of duty"

The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived but quickly filled up but this did not affect the service at all as additional waiting on staff seemed to just magically appear. The only down side for me was the bowl of steamed mussels that arrived only luke warm. The rest of our meal was spot on with my wife loving... More

My family and I went to this restaurant last night and without a shadow of doubt was the worst restaurant I have ever visited. The restaurant has a great location at the harbour and the waiters were good, however the food was all frozen & overpriced. We ordered the black Angus burgers with combo starters. The only fresh food on... More
