One of several restaurants in this part of the harbour, with a traditional feel around the decor. The seafood paella was tasty & plentiful - with local wine suggested by the staff complimenting it well. Slightly smaller than some of its neighbours - recommended.

Went here to escape the sun as the restaurant is nicely shaded and looks down on the port. The calamari (squid Roman style!) was lightly fried and tasty. The salads were fine, but on the smaller side and the goat's cheese that came with the Caprese salad was rather tasteless. Service was brisk, and overall prices were reasonable.

This is a nice location, not quite overlooking the harbour, but almost. Starters were fine, but we chose lamb for main courses and were not quite happy with the result. Service is excellent and had we chosen the fresh fish then it might have been a better review.

Visited during a heavy rain shower after deciding we would eat here as we walked past in the morning. Selected a range of fabulous tapas dishes, including gorgeous garlic gambas, grilled sardines which were amazing, calamari (my wife's favourite and she said the best crispy batter she's ever had), and a gorgeous paella as a shared dish. Perfectly cooked, nice... More

Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Food was good and promptly served. Good view over the sea and you can eat in or out.

So many options for tapas in this area but decided, this time, for el sardinero. Very pleased with the visit. Went for the fixed price tapas. Not disappointed and will return. The other meal choices we observed did look inviting and worth exploring next time.

This is one of the many restaurants down by the harbor in the old town of Puerto del Carmen, and it's a nice place. We went for early dinner with our toddler, so we were the only guests at that time, and hence the service was great! Our son got all the attention, and the waiter took his time explaining... More

Have been intending to have a grilled fish for some time but have never been a fish fan. I am now!!. My grilled sole was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and so much flavour. It will take some beating. My wife said her tuna salad was beautifully presented and very tasty too. Clean surroundings and good service. We'll be back.

I tend to dislike restaurants where you are approached outside and asked to come in - as a rule I find them not good. But I broke my own rule. The meal was adequate, the price was very reasonable and as they did not have the wine I asked for they got a bottle from a nearby restaurant! The service... More
