The place is always packed, but when you get the table you'll lunch fine! La parrilla is great and other kinds of food, desserts also very good! Fritillas con crema, you have to try it!

We didn't know this restaurant was a buffet, which makes it look a bit like a cantina. Don't go there if you're looking for a quiet place. We had entrecote a la carte and the size of the piece of meat was huge and cooked as we like it, rare, which is sometimes difficult to get. Very tender as well.... More

The restaurant was good in its parilla with a nice and professional asador. The food was good and well served, I would recommend it above all in the espeto, it means that you pay a fix amount and you eat as much you want!!!!

They offer à la carte menu, buffet and food by weight to take away. I tried the buffet. Really pleasant ambiance, wide variety of meats, excellent selection of deserts, limited options on sides.

This is the second visit we made to this resturant and it was excellent. We were there for 3.5 hours. Let me tell you my teen age sons (6ft plus tall) each eat till they were busting at the seams, but that is just the amount. The quality at El Rancho was better than any other resturant we visited in... More

Excellent place to get a good taste of typical Uruguayan food. All fresh and natural, food is excellent, quality and quantity. Service is excellent too and the place is very neat and tidy. I strongly recommend it.
