What can I say about this faboulous restaurant. Located just outside Ribadesella, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Spain. The owner Jose is very nice and friendly and only offers products of Top Quality. Fantastic Fish, seafood, Fabada Asturiana and the appetizers. Restaurant is very well decorated and cozy and the ambiance is very relaxing. If you are near... More

I have had the pleasure of eating here a number of times over the past few years and without a doubt it's one of the finest places to eat in Asturias. Absolutely fabulous ingredients - from perfect tomatoes, jamón to die for, fish that is spanking fresh and some of the best steak around. All cooked to perfection and always... More

We went with our friend who speaks Spanish which was very helpful and our hotel host described the menu to us before we left so we were delighted when the food was even more delicious than we imagined. Fresh, so delicious and we ate too much but I don't care. If I didn't have to go home I'd do it... More

Went for lunch, the food style is uncomplicated, letting the very fresh in season ingredients speak for themselves. A starter of very succulent tomatoes and onions was perfect. Main course of simply cooked tuna was rare and fresh. Altogether a pleasant experience.

Arrived there by passing in the road. Looks expensive.. is expensive... but food is great! They should carry some foods for kids... Had fish.. was nicely cooked.. dessert delicate.. a place to go but only with people who appreciate fine food.

La Huertona was actually recommend to me by Miriam Gonzalez Durantez ( aka Mrs Nick Clegg) via an article which I read in a newspaper, so if it was good enough for her family, it must be worth a go. The prices are a little more expensive than other nearby restaurants in Ribadesella but the quality speaks for itself. It... More

We just visited the cuevona and we bumped into this restaurant near Ribadesella. All food was very nice: buñuelos, anchoa and chipirones as starter and the rey and ventresca as main. All very well cooked and fresh.

We had an excellent dinner on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we don't speak Spanish and there was only a Spanish menu available, but our waiter spoke enough English to convey what was available (sadly, they had run out of lamb and a couple of other dishes we particularly fancied). Despite eating our "second choice" dishes, we were really impressed with... More

We had a late, long lunch here. The sea food was displayed as you walk in , and was all amazingly fresh. Very good wine list as well. The staff were very friendly & helpful. As with most restaurants in Asturias, very little English is spoken, and definitely no English menu's ...so you might need Google translate to work out... More

We had dinner at this fantastic restaurant, on the outskirts of Ribadesella. We chose the lamb from the a-la carte menu, it was so flavoursome and melt-in-the mouth, it's not often that you get this quality of food. Service was friendly and good, albeit not much English is spoken. Good selection of wines.
