I’ve had bbq chicken platter and a lemonade. Both were below average and certainly NOT worth that price. One chicken stake was a bit odd and firstly oversized bbq sauce (already ‘generously’ put on the stake) came handy to cover the taste. The rice had...too much cream in it. Veg was tasteless. Lemonade - for 170 rupees I’d expect much (!) more and better tasting.More

We had lunch at this restaurant. The views from its outdoor section are good. Its near the Subway on the mall road. The cafe is clean and has a nice ambience. The food served is delicious. Definitely recommended for all foodies out there!👍🏽

Very few places can boast about a combination of good food AND a great vibe- cake lakeside is definitely one of them! The food is fresh and very tasty, the view wonderful and the staff hospitable. Must visit on your trip to Nainital!

Saw this place on Google and visited for lunch. The ambience is musical with discs & photographs of Hollywood stars of the 60-70era, very nostalgic. Got to hear some rare songs of that period. Kashmiri mutton roganjosh was one of the best ever eaten, laccha...paratha was crisp, shikanji was refreshing. The menu has Indian, Chinese and continental selections.More

We tried a couple of cocktails including Manhattan, whiskey sour. Even though both tasted decent, they both tasted same and were pink in color which is not the original color for either of them. Nevertheless, the chicken wings and mix sauce pasta were really amazing....Chicken keema naan can be given a miss as it was ok. Real beauty of the place is the location, ambience and the music. If you are looking for a good cafe, this is one of the best place at mall road Nainital. However the only thing which is not right is charging more than MRP for a water bottle, this spoiled the entire experience, better serve costlier range...of water like himalaya etc. charging 50 buck for 20 bucks bottle not ethical. I am sure any one visiting there wouldn’t mind spending etc this extra amount as its in penny. However if you look at ethical part this is not appreciated, i mean how much p&l would an restaurant make by charging 30-40 bucks etc?More
