Unfortunately Tripadvisor is wrong in this instance. This place is a nice old pub but unfortunately the food is very ordinary. The chips were over cooked and almost cold. The burgers had buns that were not very fresh. The ribs were dry and the meat wasn't that nice. The chicken burger had a tough fillet on it. The only thing... More

Lovely here, nice to sit outside in the sun on the balcony or inside in the warmth on a winters day. The menu is great and daily specials are always enticing. Not restaurant quality service though as it is a pub but still great all the same!

The Como is a good old fashioned pub sitting high up so you get a nice view over the sportsfield and harbour. I haven't had the food but it looks decent, and the staff are friendly and inviting. Inside there is a big section dedicated to betting facilities and big screen for sport etc. Beer tastes good, and is cold... More

Had Lunch there on Sunday 29th Jan and it was hot !! the staff were working so hard to make everyone happy. ( always a few customers having a whine ) It was uncomfortable and humid they worked their bums off, the food was very, very good and fresh and hot when presented. Their table service was great and so... More

Ordered 2 chicken schnitzel and 3 kids chicken strip meals. All the chicken was way undercooked. Parts of the kids chicken was fleshy still. Sent them all back. The kids meals were just refried again so we hard and chewy although cooked through this time. Both adults refused to eat the schnitzel due to it being undercooked and ask to... More

The location is wonderful, quiet, looks over a sports oval, water views in distance. I ordered the pot pie, maybe should be renamed "pot luck" pie as I must have been one of the unlucky patrons to only get gravy and a couple of bits of potato in mine. The others ordered the cutlets which could have been cooked slightly... More

Good food, venue, and ambience. We have been there a number of times and always thought that it was good as apposed to the Blackfish Cafe which is appalling.

The booking process was easy (Sunday lunch) and I spoke with a lovely young lady who was attentive to my enquiry. On arrival we had a few drinks in the bar and I chatted with the bar attendant who was also very friendly. And on it went to the restaurant and when we left the original young lady made a... More

Beautiful day, amazing setting, catching up with a friend on a lovely covered balcony at this beautiful pub, friendly and helpful staff - and then the food arrived. The ribs were overcooked and dry and the mayonnaise on the coleslaw tasted off so couldn't eat It. The only saving grace was the baked potato. It was very disappointing. Nice wines... More

Hi, Whilst it's lovely to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere and service at The Como it is extremely disappointing to hear your meal was not up to scratch. If you could please email us events@thecomo.com.au we would really like to have you back for another meal as food quality is something we pride ourselves on. Kind regards, Emma. More

What a great spot. Good food, good service, reasonably priced food. Not pretentious. A historic spot with a bit of a story about the burnt door. You will be happy here..

Description
The Como Grill is a great spot to come and dine for any occasion. With our extensive courtyard and gazebo area that captures the spectacular view of the Scylla Bay, it's a perfect spot to have a bite to eat with a drink and relax. The centre piece of our dining room is an icon of the "great fire of Como" our historic burnt door captures memories of the past and provides a glimpse of the tragedy of the fire. With many photo's displayed on the dining room walls it takes you step by step of the fire and the Hotels re-building.
