This restaurant is now called Bella Napoli. We went there for our elder son 11th birthday. The staff was extremely kind, they organized a special menu for us finishing with a birthday cake (see picture). The food was very good (bruschetta, escalope milanaise, 3 different...pasta, crème caramel, chocolate cake, big portions), the atmosphere very enjoyable, we felt at home. This place! Just wow! Do not go by the appearance.. we actually walked past this place cause we hardly saw any people here on a Saturday evening (assuming it would be crowded because of the ratings that thus place has). But appearances are deceptive. We...tried the cold coffee, iced tea, Pa Pe Po pasta which has a mixture of red, white and pesto sauce. Pasta was amazing - authentic taste, something different than what we get at other Italian food places and quantity was very good. One downside is they take too long to prepare the food. So keep extra time for waiting. Ambiance needs to be improved. It's just a small hall with 4 tables and an open kitchen. The AC also was not effective. I would have given a 5 star rating if the ambiance was better. Food is pricy. 300-400 for a pasta dish. However I feel it's worth it as quantity is good and taste is super yummy. Iced tea is refreshing. Worth a visit.More
We visited this place in Sep 2018 when we were visiting Puducherry. We had read about this in some magazines and I really wanted to try the pasta here. When we arrived here - we were really not sure if this was the place as...it appeared small. Just a couple of seats. The kitchen was very much in view and was clean. We were hungry and decided to give it a try anyways and am so glad we did. The pasta was absolutely delicious. We tried the chicken pasta in white sauce and it was so rich and creamy and flavorful. There are many varieties of pastas that you can try here. I strongly recommend this place to all.More
Excellent choice of pastas freshly prepared before us. Very warm and welcoming staff. Just go for the food as the ambience is just like any regular food joint. It is a bit pricey comparing other cafes in heritage town.
If there’s anyone out there who has found a better pasta in India than at Pasta World’s, you should tell me. Seriously the food is amazing and the guys running the place are very nice. Go there.
A small restaurant serves pasta with an open kitchen, where the customers can watch how the pasta and sauce are cooked. The service is warm and cool. They both serve veg and non-veg options. The food had nice taste. The only thing that serves which...I felt not reasonable and expensive is the water bottle which is 60 rs while the mrp is 20. REMEMBER they don't accept credit cards.More
Its a simple restaurant making their own pastas and variety of them. The service is exceptional and really warm. Things ordered Carbonara Big Al Bolognese Some iced tea and a salad. ITS A LOT and its yum!

This is a very small place tucked a few minutes walk from WhiteTown on a side street . They have a simple menu- quite a few veg and non veg pastas and sauces , salads and drinks. The pastas are available with it without egg...in the pasta itself. We each had pasta and shared a salad. The salad was simple but very fresh and tasty with a lime and vinegar dressing. It came with some toasted white bread- not so authentic/ not so tasty but OK. The first pasta was a veggie penne Ragu which was enjoyable. The other was a spicier garlic chilli sauce with penne, very tasty. The portions are adequate. The service is very good. With non alcoholic drinks the tab was about 1100 rupees- standard chunk of cash for dinner in Pondy I guess . I would go back and recommend it!More
By far the best place to eat in PONDICHERRY, a real authentic Italian cuisine, with an Italian vibe. Forget about the Baguettes, go for the real pasta!
The type of pastas that they offer are so varied that it is sometimes confusin as to what should one eat and not eat. The overall experience of dining was good and we loved every moment that we spent here.
The place is not as big as other restaurants but the food is definitely better than others! The variety of the pastas and its tastes are simply mind blowing. Must visit!
