Today, I went to dine in at A2B, White Town. I had bought Butter Paneer and Dal with 2 Naan. Later on I went to have one more Naan as it is Self Service. It took 20 mins for them to serve a Naan. Also...the food was terrible. Would never recommend anyoneMore
Hi Yesterday I had a very bad experiance with Anandha Bhavan East Ham. The food is horrible extremely salty and stale food. We bought a parcel onion pakoda to home which is a complete crap. the typical value-for-money self-service, always crowded kind of place. but that is part of the experience. The food is a safe bet on the classic 'tiffin' fare one would expect in and around Tamil Nadu. Taste, freshness, speed of service, consistency - 5/5. Very unhygienic place to eat a lunch. This A2B is close to the beach. I am referring to the first floor of this restaurant where they serve lunch/ full-service. There’s a toilet and the end in that floor which is nasty and not maintained. All...the servers pass through the toilet with the food they serve. Some of the cooked items are kept open at the kitchen near the toilet , 4 feet away. I am not sure if there is any health inspectors who reviewed this place and permitted to operate. It appears to be a place for spreading deceases. Food is far from taste that you may expect from similar hotels. Management must take action quickly before it spoils their name in the market.More
We had sudden visit during explore Puducherry and tasted mysore pak, swahan halua. Sweets quality were good. They have large sitting option. This is pure veg. food centre. Except sweets they also serve chaat, authentic South Indian dishes.
On the occasion that we visit East Ham for our food shopping, we always stop for food at Saravana Bhawan. With the best food and service you could ask for. Since the opening of this place, we got curious and thought to try it today....What a disappointment. We were sat down and waited for a menu for 15 minutes (after asking 3 separate people for one). Once ready to order, they let us know that all 6 things we ordered weren’t available, which is weird. Also, since when is it ok for a server to say that what you order is so standard, and basically order something she tells you (FYI not ok). Anyways, food arrives (dosas), and it is greasiest dosa I’ve ever had. We asked for extra lentils (which were unlimited) and it took another 4 people to finally get it to us. Let’s just say, stick to what you know and you won’t be as disappointed as we were today.More

A2b is my favorite go to place for a breakfast. I like their mini tiffin option very much. Being hungry after along walk they serve almost instantly nice hot mini masala dosa in it.. Wow that's so yummy. I preferred to eat here when I...was hungry and didn't want to search for a restaurant or didn't feel like waiting for long. We reached pondicherry at4 pm which was post lunch hour but could get good food almost instantly.More

We visited for early dinner at 730pm. Self service place & tables were cleared quickly. The parota kurma had melt in mouth layered parota & kurma had nice coconut curry flavored with south spices. The dosai was good. The papdi chaat was tangy with more...than enough quantity. The special A2B veg biryani was also unexpectedly delicious. All this under Rs.400.More
Nice place to have south Indian veg food. The only problem is they do not have service. it is self service and the seating capacity is very limited.
Very bad quality maintenance. A Lala shop item would have been better. I have proof. Within 36 hours, sweets bought were rotten with fungus. Either the incharge or counter staff bothered to see the samples nor beg for apologies. Big no. Strictly avoid.
South indian fast food place. If you are looking for a quick bite in a limited budget then this is the place. Good for lunch or dinner under a small budget. Yoh can find typical south indian idli, medu vada, dosa etc along with thalis....Place doesn’t look very clean though.More
I understand the concept here but sadly the one thing that matters the most is the food which really isn't all that great. If you're gonna do basic then at least get it right. There are better street food stalls than this place....cleaner too!
According to me this is the best place to have South Indian food, It's a chain of brands They offer extensive south indian and lot of sweets too. Must try this place for South Indian cusuine.
