I have had dinner here quite a few times over the past few years and always enjoyed the food, which was very french. The decor was/is really lovely, south East Asian. However, having had dinner there recently I was disappointed. The service was appalling, took at least an hour to get the main course, by which time the wine was... More

If your looking for a restaurant for a special occasion this hidden gem is the romantic answer. Although the waiter was a little pretentious the food is something different and setting is amazing.

Visited the restaurant on the 26th December, it wasn't busy but we had made a reservation for 4 people! It's not a great reflection on the restaurant when on the first page of the menu it apologies for slow service!!! Seated straight away, eventually drinks order taken 25 minutes after seated, then I ask for the wine menu so I... More

Lovely restaurant delicious food and good service. If it was in a busier location I think you would struggle to get a table. Unusual Balanise style decor. Fabulous selection of different dishes ranging from classic French to Moroccan fusion every dish was different but delicious. We were amazed due to the excellent quality of food that it wasn't packed every night.... More

Starter was fine, beef tagine for main however was terrible. Insipid sauce, a couple of chickpeas, a few overcooked vegetables (carrot & courgette) and served alongside inedible, dry, bland couscous. Service was the biggest let down though, over 2 hours for starters and mains. Gave up before dessert, it was past 11pm at this stage. What a let down.

French cuisine d’auteur in an oriental, arabic rendering, spicy and rich served in an intimate low light stylish atmosphere suffused by oriental elements and french ambience music. Wine list with provencal propositions. Zesty, attentive service. In a bystreet, a place to recommend

Here you find a very good restaurant with atmosphere and a exciting and impressing menu, some good wine and a very... More
