A late lunch turned up a cafe with pies to die for ! Four diners all choosing a pie for lunch - what a great choice ! Spinach and feta, mince and cheese, steak and mushroom, everyone a delight. A must stop for pie lovers !

Stopped in the town to explore and have breakfast. This place was full of locals so we thought it was good enough for us! Selection of pies, cakes etc was superb. We had pancakes with bacon and banana - absolutely delicious. Great friendly staff, great service.

We are touring and stopped for a bite and a drink. The chai latte and cappuccino were perfect. Great atmosphere and fabulous fresh options to eat. The bacon and egg pie was fantastic. Cute retro furniture. Friendly staff!!!

What can I say, but wonderful fresh cooked meals and savouries, plenty of different types of sandwiches to choose from. Cakes with different fillings. Coffee and tea, and a pleasant atmosphere to boot

Food is generally good, donuts are great but the hot chocolate is dreadful. Appeared to be making it with a bottle of chocolate milk, it was undrinkable. The layout is not very well thought out either with those waiting for drinks standing on top of seated diners, and once you've paid, it's a shuffle past people getting food and the... More

They had a great selection of baked goods. We had the Raspberry and White chocolate tart, Chocolate brownie, Chocolate Slice and Rhubarb and custard Tart. They were delicious lots of taste and very yummy. Our hot drinks could have been a little hotter but aside from that... More

Wow what a little gem in waihi. Popped in for a brunch and must say service was friendly and efficient while the cabinet food looked fresh & interesting. But we ordered pancakes and French toast and both came out promptly with beautiful presentation. They were perfectly made and the French toast was the best I've had anywhere in Nz. A... More

Food was okay. This was my first time to Waihi so we found this place on trip advisor. Went with my partner. We got 2 hot meals and 2 cold drinks which cost around $35.

The selection of traditional Kiwi cafe/bakery food is very good. The custard square was especially impressive with lovely light custard filling. The fresh cream donuts also looked beautiful. This cafe also had a nice selection of bakery-style food suitable for vegetarians such as the cauliflower/broccoli savoury (mini-pie) and the spinach and feta savoury. The coffee is also very good.
