Familiar, warm and welcoming restaurant. Spanish-Canary cuisine. Highlighting local products such as kid (young goat), lamb, fresh meats and fish. Excellent Iberian Serrano ham, cheese authentic from the island and manchego. Great variety of starters. Our fried or roasted kid is delightful. Home-made desserts made with absolute attention to detail. We are very attentive with wines, both with its selection and conservation, plus the service provided when it comes to wines is very exclusive. We also include an outdoor terrace to have something to eat and drink while enjoying Fuerteventura's sun and breeze.

Excellent Value and Quality Restaurant

This restaurant is very popular, even on a Tuesday, so booking essential if you don't want to wait for a table. We shared a small salad with tomatoes and sun drenched peppers - delicious at Euro 7.50. My wife made a mistake and ordered the fried goat, but realising this was disliked, an alternative was immediately offered and the fresh dorada at Euro 15, which was excellent. My thinly sliced iberica pork medallions Euro 15 were also very tasty. The red wine, water and bread were all good and reasonably priced. The total bill was Euro 69, which we consider good value.

Birthday treat

My wife booked this restaurant for my birthday meal. After we managed to get the taxi to divert from the other shopping centre to here we were hoping for a nice night. We sat outside on the terrace which was lovely as there was a slight breeze blowing. Wife started with prawns cooked in a garlic and chilli butter, which was divine. I had fried smoked crispy goats cheese with a wine and blueberry sauce. Wife had pork fillets with a honey mustard sauce which came with fries and ratatouille. I had a tuna steak with garlic and Canarian potato and a side salad. For dessert I had a cream Catalana, which was ice cream with an egg yolk and a brulee top. Wife had a mousse de gofio. During the meal we had a really good bottle of rioja. We then had two liqueurs. One was similar to Bailey's and the other was a honey rum. Coffee to finish and only cost 89.05 euros. Service was first class. Best restaurant in the area.

Real little Gem of a place.

Being used to really good food at home we always find it difficult to find good places to eat in Costa Calma that aren’t the usual Pizza type places. Having read the reviews and it getting late we decided to try this place. Being in the shopping precinct with no View as such didn’t help our first impressions BUT let me tell you this little place is a gem! The wine is first rate and the food home cooked and delicious. I ordered the salmon and half expected it to come over cooked as so many people do but it was perfect and very tasty. Hubby had a fillet steak in mushroom sauce and he said it was delicious. We are going back there tonight because it was so good and great wines and wonderful choice of menu.

Good food. No cinnamon please

Not the best location for restaurant in a rundown shopping centre . The place it’s self well organised and clean and excellent service . The was a mixed bag. Goats cheese and blackcurrant jam a bit weird as the jam had cinnamon in! The croquettes were lovely . Mains the tuna was lovely and the mustard pork nice is not a little sweet . Overall we would visit again excluding the cinnamon.

Good Restaurant

A quiet Tuesday evening. Very good main courses black seabram ( chopa) and pork cheeks (carrillas). Croquettes starters disappointing flavours. Service a bit disrupted by birthday.

Excellent food and Service

While the location is tucked away in the corner of a building containing other businesses, don't let this put you off sampling the delicious selection of classical Spanish food and fine wines. The couple running the restaurant are super friendly and accommodating and the service is excellent. We ate there twice and would have a third time only they were closed on Mondays.

A great find in an out of the way place...

Great experience

Just returned from Tasca Dos Jotas this evening. We are staying at Drago Park hotel but decided to go to a restaurant this evening. Having read the reviews we selected Tasca Dos Jotas and what a great decision it was. Absolutely superb and would highly recommend.

El mejor en mi vida

I have been here with the wife 4 times this week since eating here for the first time. Lovely people juan and mari that make you feel like family. I have had a fillet steak a cod and a lamb shoulder all have been to the highest quality. But tonight i had carilleras or pork cheeks in English ,which was the best thing I've tasted in my life or el mejor en mi vida as the Spanish say. No wonder everyone in the restaurant is always smiling and such great prices for this michelin style quality.

Small, intimate dining. Excellent!

Found this restaurant on trip advisor and the extra walking distance was definitely worth it. Small restaurant above a shopping centre so could easily be missed. Luckily when we went the first time there was 1 table which wasn't reserved and we had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent even though the 2 staff were busy continuously. I had the duck which was excellent and when we went back later in the week I couldn't resist having the duck again. Everything we ate and drunk was top notch. Recommend booking as it's pretty small and gets rather busy.

BEST GARLIC PRAWNS EVER!

I had the best garlic prawns I think I’ve ever had at this lovely little restaurant, it was worth coming all the way from London just to experience this. Delicious acorn Serrano ham to start, friendly service, will most definitely return! 10/10.
