Brilliant evening, fantastic food, friendly, cheerful staff. Great meal and a welcomed glass of bubbly on arrival. Salmon and the sea bream fillets were delicious and served with veg and Canarian potatoes. Sweets were excellent (if you have room.) Another complimentary iced drink at the...end. Only drawback was that we were unable to return because of the lockdown next day due to the dreaded virus!
Wishing you all the best in these difficult times and hope to see you again on our next visit. Arguably one of the best restaurants in Teguise (together with sister restaurant, Peskera - on the esplanade.)More
we had walked past the restaurant a couple of times and spoken to the lady outside were she explained about the steaks and fresh paella. we decided to go the day after and we were not disappointed. we shared the starters which were both tasty...and like a piece of art. I had the prime rib steak for main and my fiancee had the seafood paella, the food here was out of this world and the staff we so professional they made us feel like royalty. thank you.More

Thank you for your opinion, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit, we hope to see you again very soon
Decided to have late lunch here after our long evening walk along the promenade. After browsing the menu, I decided to go for the Octopus Nikkei followed by the Banana dessert. I have to say that was the best Octopus meal I have ever had...on the island and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This particular dish was my first time but it won’t be the last as I fully intend to go back these specifically for that meal. I would highly recommend it , if you are a seafood lover and if you have never tried it , be adventurous and you might just surprise yourself. There is a wonderful seating are outside with a beautiful view of the Las Cucharas beach and shops and the seating is well spaced out inside and outside. There are facilities for children to play , a relaxing area for parents to chill out on sofa seating and the decor is exceptional. Patrons coming here cannot help themselves but pose to photograph themselves on some of the swinging chairs or sofa bed like looking seating and the decor inside , which is very eye- catching and unusual. Next time you are on this island , don’t miss this restaurant.More
Visited this restaurant on 3 occasions during our recent stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious (and we tried different meals every time) from the tapas to the Wok dishes to the pizzas and kebabs. You receive complimentary drinks when your...arrive and leave. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend a visit to this restaurantMore
First of two visits. One for lunch as it was raining so had to leave the beach, the other was for a meal in the evening. Went back for a second evening meal.
Lunch outside we managed to get an omelette of our own preference....Beautifully decorated inside and made to feel welcome. The service was first class.
Menu varied and prices good. Wine selection was amazing.
Treated to a free fizz drink on arrival which was a nice touch.
Toilet facilities were the cleanest I have come across so far in Lanzarote.More

Travel to Costa Teguise all the time not not been to El Maestro for quite a while and thought we would try it again. We were really impressed had one of the nicest steaks I have had for a long time, my partner has an...eating disorder and his meal was cooked to perfection and the extra sauce requested was provided without hassle.
Really lovely attentive staff had a lovely evening back on our list for another visit when we are back in July so glad we gave it another try forgot how good it wasMore
