At the suggestion of local folks, Chicos was nice enough to cook the fish our fisherman caught last night - sierra a la plancha. They added beans and rice to our fish, and it was delicious. Good limonadas and a reasonable bill.

The best location on the beach and the margaritas - which are tasty and strong - are welcome after a day of sun and water.

We ate down by the ocean and we were absolutely swarmed by biting bugs, my partner received 40 bites in a very short time and finally retreated to the safety of the car, in San Blass ocean means biting bugs, good luck

Nice spot right on the Chacala beach. A big open covered area offers cool shade while you enjoy the yummy array of fresh seafood. The fresh guacamole makes a terrific starter before any of the grilled fish on the menu. We had great service from waiters that spoke English well.

We spent the day at Chacala Beach to catch some of the awesome surf. We used a beach front table at Chico's restaurant, and had food and drinks throughout the day. As there were 5 of us, we were able to sample a few of the different things. Everything we ordered was awesome. They made fish by the kilo on... More

There is no better vibe on the beach than Chico's. It's always mostly Mexican guests with just a few tourists. Partly because of the lower prices, families come to eat while the little ones play in the surf - the laughter and energy is contagious. Groups of young couples laugh amidst the selfies, beer and ceviche. Unfortunately the food is... More

We've visited this place twice with a referral. The Grilled Red Snapper was grilled to perfection, on a wood fire. Nothing better than that, really. So delicious.

My wife and I had eaten lunch at Chicos and found it to be quite good and were told by a group of Canadians that the octopus was excellent. We returned at dinner time and ordered the octopus. After waiting for about fifteen minutes, the waiter returned to tell us there was no more octopus. We decided to split and... More
