As a birthday treat for my husband (and a treat in general for me if we're honest!), we stayed overnight at Fischer's Baslow Hall and enjoyed their tasting menu at the Chef's Kitchen Table. We genuinely could not rate this experience more highly - we...More

We decided to dine at Fischer's as a birthday treat for both of us. And a treat it was. Whilst the lounge/bar is a bit hot n stuffy and the maître d' a bit cheesy full of false charm, once we got shown through to...More

Great venue and great freshly prepared food. Worthy of its Michelin place. The fixed midweek menu represents excellent value. Beautiful surroundings. Staff are always attentive and professional.

Don't be put off by preconceived notions; you will be able to relax and be well treated in a very relaxed atmosphere. Stuffiness is not a Derbyshire trait.
