Ate here based on previous Trip Adviser reviews. We sat outside as it was sunny. Had the menu of the day option st 16.50 euros. Large portions ( spinach and chickpe stater an beef stew) but I'm afraid in was quantity over quality. Nice service however.

The Toruno restaurant is the best restaurant in El Rocio, the typical western village. The food is excellent (fish and meat) and the view on the Donana Park is amazing. Go inside to the end of the restaurant for the best view.I highly recommand this restaurant !

Despite reading about El Rocio I was still surprised to find such a sandy town and equally as surprised to not get our car stuck in the sand in the main street! We found Restaurante Toruno as we had booked accommodation close by, it was getting late so walked into the first place we found. It was so enjoyable with... More

We dined here several evenings and the food was almost always good. The fish dishes were superb. My only disappointment was that once I had lamb chops with little meat on the bone. Sweets were more of an after thought. However the place was very clean and the staff helpful and pleasant

Super range of good and reasonably priced food, part is more for tourists, the part at the front, onto teh square, is more informal though the same menu,

Good food and very friendly staff. Clients all Spanish when we visited, which must be a good sign. Fino, seafood, and meat dishes recommended.

I cannot fault the setting. But one can get that sitting on a bench. And the food was of reasonable quality. So why only 3-stars. Because the prices reflect the surroundings and not the quality of the meal. To be blunt, the prices are way above the norm for rural Andalucia. Go further east into town if you are looking... More

El Rocío is a strange place for first time visitors - like a Wild West town where you can tie up your horse in front of most houses/bars. And it must be hell when the sand turns to mud in a rainstorm. EL TORUÑO was recommended to us by the office where trips to the Coto de Doñana are offered.... More
