Reasonably priced menu with moules marriniere being one of the specialities. They didnt live up to my expectation as they didn't taste of much - no shallots just big junks on onion and no sauce or juice to dunk in. Ordinary at best.

We always stop here while walking on the beachfront in St Cyprien. Have stopped here for both drink & lunch. All good & very good value. 3 course lunch 12.90 & good selection

Great spot only 15 meters from the beach. Great furniture. But that is the end of the good news, I'm afraid. The service mediocre, the coffees expensive (€1.80 for a long black) by french standards. 1703.

We have been eating here for about 15 years and the food and friendly service is consitently good. It also wonderful to eat while looking out over the mediterranean. Salads and set menues are good value as well as the standard moules-frites. Slight downer is they stopped serving in the evening from October 1, but you only find out by... More

We visited Le Maillol Cafe on a number of occasions again this year. Given the menu that is now on offer, I would say that it has even got better. It is a very busy and popular restaurant, both at lunch time and in the evening, but their superb, hard working waiters and waitresses take it all in their stride... More

If you are visiting Le Maillol Cafe between 12.30p.m. and 2.00p.m when France seems to stop for lunch, then you might have to be quick to get a table. Again after 8.00p.m. it gets very busy, and service can be quite slow. Le Maillol Cafe is a popular place, which have visited on a number of occasions when on holiday... More

Lovely situation on the beachfront, but thats where the good news ends. The staff were unfriendly, slow service and the food was distinctly average. After spending upwards of € 50 on a breakfast for myself, my partner and two young kids, they wouldn't let our youngest back in to use the bathroom on the grounds he had beach sand on... More

When in st cyprien have lunch there 3/4 times a week they have a set menu for 13.90 which is ever changing and unbeatable, starter main course and dessert. On top of that if you are fortunate you get the best view of the sea from your table. The staff are also very friendly.

Lovely location right by the sea. Seems to be always open out of peak season when other restaurants are closed which is when we have been - I imagine it would be very busy at the height of the tourist season. Have only ever had moules et frites as these are so good but the other dishes look just as... More
