We decided to try this place and not to pay attention to some of the poor reviews. The staff were super attentive and professional, and the quality of food was great. We both had pizzas that were made in a wood oven, crispy and filling. Would go back again.

The pizza and kumara fries were great but the highlight was unquestionably the live music provided by the duo Acoustic Intent. An outstanding acoustic set playing a varied range of greatest hits from Crowded House, Pearl Jam and Eric Clapton to Prince and The Beatles. Sensational. They only play Sundays and I assure you, if you enjoy contemporary live music... More

We had dinner here - food was good but service was shocking. Started off badly by waitress dumping our $70 bottle of wine and glasses on the table - had to pour the wine ourselves. Didn't stay for dessert as waitress and staff were of the extinct variety, so travelled elsewhere for desert. International boa ties who visit Gulf Harbour,... More

Brilliant seafood platter for 2 for only $28 - excellent value. As always a lovely, lovely setting on the Gulf Harbour Marina in the sunshine. Food and wine and service - great. Would highly recommend

Myself, my partner and my daughter came here and were pleasantly surprised. It was our first time, and didn't have a booking, yet we were seated and tended to straight away. They had a wedding reception on so food took longer than expected, but it was no worries as one should expect they would be focusing on that. The outside... More

We had dinner at Carpe Diem on a Saturday night, we didn't have a booking but were welcomed in to a lovely table looking out to the Marina. It had a really relaxed atmosphere with live music. The food was really enjoyable especially the pork belly with scallops cooked perfectly.

We have dined at Carpe Diem a couple of times recently, service was great and the food excellent. It's a shame not to see it full, well worth a visit

Went for lunch on a sunny sunday. The reason we chose to come here, is it is very nice on a sunny day and it has potential. On arrival we were informed there was a wait as they had a large party of 30 to attend to , we appreciated this info prior to ordering as we could stay or go... More

The location is fun with water outside the window. The menu is pub food but looked ok. However ghd the service was non existent. We waited 20 minutes before leaving and in this time we were given the drinks menu when seated and then the waitress never returned so we gave up
