Great place and I fellow diners said the food was good. However it would be helpful to have written on the blackboard the "roast of the Day" to ensure one doesn't mistakenly hear that the roast is lamb, when in fact it is ham. I have never had ham served with dark gravy, nor without mustard, and I am positive... More

We had often looked at Fairview Estate en route to or returning from Auckland or the Coromandel Peninsula. We went to "suss it out" a couple of months ago & just had coffee & some of their excellent cabinet food. As a result of that visit, we took a Sunday Lunch Tour to the venue on Mothers' Day last weekend.... More

As a resident of Fairview Estate we dine at Café Nineteen regularly. Always good food and extensive menu at good prices. Lovely outlook onto golf course. Staff excellent. Meals could be served a little hotter is my only criticism, but apart from that thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful cafe in a lovely setting. Don't have to be a golf participant to eat here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food is fresh and fish is a delightful meal. Coffee I loved. Mum had a pot of tea. Salads were great. We also had my Mum's 75th Birthday here and the premises catered well for that... More

My experience of this establishment has been very pleasant. Fish and chips are great, prawn salad is divine and great choice of deserts. Vegetarian options, friendly staff, a bar if you like a tipple with your meal and a great outlook overlooking the golf course. Easy access for wheelchairs. Have your GPS going or look out for the golf course... More

Sunday Brunch.. Orders for Fish & Chips at $12 each and one Prawn Salad for $15 were placed with a friendly, efficient staff member at the counter. We were shown to a table next to a window overlooking the beautifully maintained grounds of the Fairview Golf Course. A hot pot of tea and cold drinks was delivered to our table... More

$5.40 for a small double shot mocha. I also had a pie several weeks ago. Cost about $5 from memory. Microwaved not oven heated. Pretty poor..it's a real shame considering the lack of competition in the area. They should be capitalizing on the premium location. It is a lovely spot.
