We took our took our three children here daily (sometimes twice a day!) on a recent week long trip in Barga and was never disappointed! Great ice cream, great crepes, great waffles, great pancakes, great coffee and great staff - special mention to Veronica who...even went to the trouble of specially giving our two year old pink smarties only... My only criticism is that we are not able to go today having flown home!More

Different & interesting flavors, lovely staff. Best gelato on this trip for sure (though haven’t had it every day like other reviewers!). Chocolates & pastries looked amazing, though we didn’t try them.

The ladies who work here are just wonderful and make the best gelato and desserts. The passionfruit yoghurt dessert was amazing, the profiteroles the best and the gelato better than any we had anywhere else in Italy (and we tried a lot). They have white...and dark chocolate on tap! The gelato, cakes and coffee are simply the best and the staff, especially Valentina, are wonderful. Do not come to this region and fail to visit Theobroma. It makes a holiday complete.

Having eaten gelato every day of our Italy trip, this was the best by far (it was all pretty good to be fair) The gelato was deliciously smooth and tasty, and the melted chocolate inside was lovely, along with numerous toppings and lovely setting made...it our favourite. So much so that we visited Barga a second time to enjoy the town and gelato again!!More
