A few weeks ago we decided to go for the first time to Meneer van Eijck with my family and my 2 year old son, but after more than 45 minutes waiting for our order I asked for it and was told that a mistake...was made and my order had been forgotten! they were sorry and offered us free drinks. We thought a mistake can happened... Yesterday we decided to give it another try, we showed up at 11:50, I asked for the lunch menu I was told that lunch only started at 12:00, i said it was fine but I was with a young kid and that I could already at it and order as soon as possible, we didn't wanted to wait for to long. So at 12:00 we ordered. 30 minutes later lots of other tables are getting food and we still have nothing! I ask the waitress about our order telling her I was worried because of the last time we came and because our order had been forgotten, etc... she came back a few minutes later telling us that she had forgotten to give our order to the kitchen! I couldn't believe it, i even asked her if she was joking! For the 2nd time (in 2 times!) we were experiencing the worst service ever! I was very angry and asked her what she was going to do about it, she offered free drinks but explained that we would have to wait for the food and said condescending that she could only apologize! I was so pissed I took my family and left. My son was crying and everybody was very disappointed. What a shame! We will not come back to meneer van Eijck.More

Outstanding meal with fast service. Had a veal dinner which was perfectly cooked with the right amount of sides. Dessert was fantastic. All meals here are presented with artistic flair from starter to dessert. A true 5 star experience. Unlike most fine dining restaurants in...the area, the start to the end of the meal can be done in less than 3 hours. Prompt service allows dining to be complete in 60 to 90 minutes or can be stretched out to fill the evening. This is my favorite restaurant to visit when I go to the Tilburg area for business. It is set in the woods with a hunting lodge atmosphere.More

Four us called to Meneer van Eijck on Saturday afternoon we had a table reserved , the setting for the Restaurant is one of the most beautiful locations that we have ever been too. Set in a old World type wood (beautiful). The Restaurant inside...has a lovely warm feeling which fits with the Beautiful surrounds outside . We had brunch for 4 people , the food was excellent and the Trappist Bier was Lekker , The Staff here were excellent and we will be recommending the Restaurant to all our Friends.More
