WOW ! Due to various 'dietary restrictions' (gluten, egg, lactose and cow's milk), I can hardly eat anywhere with peace of mind. After my email asking if they could do anything for me, I immediately received a reassuring answer. Once we got there, everyone who served our table knew about it. Nothing was left to chance (separate pan with oil for my fries, vegan mayo, no cookie but a piece of Turkish delight, etc). I could just look on the menu to see what I wanted and they would make it in such a way that I could eat it. First see then believe; but really, it was excellent!! We enjoyed it so much here! In connection with their 12 1/2 year anniversary, they now have a great 4- or 5-course game menu. Upon entering you will be warmly welcomed by the staff. Throughout the evening they remain enthusiastic, friendly and correct. In addition to a 4-course menu, we opted for an excellent bottle of red wine. This South African wine was very tasty with every dish. The dishes were tasty, except the fries. The fries were too hard and definitely fried too long. But that didn't spoil the fun. The price-quality was very good. We would love to come back again!

Incomprehensible that this restaurant gets good reviews. Each dish was mediocre while the prices are high. Here are inexperienced or dispassionate cooks in the kitchen. Service was friendly and attentive but very young and certainly no professional training in terms of hospitality. Appetizer bisque was mediocre, little depth and not the sweetness of the lobster combined with the sharpness of the cognac. No brandy at all, I'm afraid. This could really be much better. The scallops, 2 pieces (really too meagre as a complete and pricey starter) floated in a mousse of peas in which they almost drowned. Not spicy fried making them soggy. No trace of mint as shown on the map. Main course tournedos made no sense. Two hunks of tenderloin, hello, a tournedos should be 1 nice round piece of tenderloin, one!! that means the word! were quite tough, way too well cooked (had asked medium). Bearnaise was reasonable. Side dish of vegetables well, potato was a kind of sliver of gratin. Minimal and was covered in vegetables making it moist and sticky. Half lobster with scallop ok baked but really the smallest size and only 2 scallops. The spaghetti was a huge mountain, far from al dente and really way too sharp making it predominant compared to the lobster and scallops. Hollandaise was missing, so was the tomato. 1 paper-thin green asparagus. There is no soul here. With such mediocre cooks, we no longer had any faith in desserts and skipped that. With the large selection of good restaurants, I am amazed by the reasonable influx. Together more than 180€ lost (incl 1 bottle of wine at 40€ for 2 very moderate starters and main courses. Too bad!

Last Sunday the four of us had drinks and dinner at SEC. Food is fine, but not special and too pricey for quality. Soup ridiculously expensive, almost 16.00 euros and for that you get lobster broth without prawns in it (a total of 1 Dutch shrimp). Bavette tasty, but not fantastic for the price you pay. After paying the bill, I was charged and paid for 1 bottle of wine too much. We had to come along ourselves. Bad. We got our money back, but no apologies or anything like that. Shame.

If you ever visit the south of Holland, the you need to book a table in the fantastic restaurant in OISTERWIJK. The chef creates, with his team, the nicest dishes full of flavours and Perfect combinations. I definitely go back when I'm in Holland.
