Stumbled on this place after googling the best fish restaurants in the area and it did not disappoint. I had the catch of the day which was Sea Bream and the locally sourced Tuna Cappacio. Absolutely fabulous. My husband had the octopus and the steak and lobster, both generous portions and we left thoroughly satisfied. The staff simply cannot do... More

Nice location, out over the water, nice surroundings, tables discretely spaced, attentive staff and great food. They place was closed when we went in and booked for that evening, with no problem at all. However, it was the most expensive restaurant we went to in two weeks staying in Playa Blanca. We'd go again, but it isn't for those on... More

Very attentive staff and excellent meal. Sadly let down by the translation of the menu. Couldn't understand any of the desserts on offer and so passed on having one. We had eaten sufficiently anyway. Please get a native English speaker to edit menu.

We usually have half board this year we went b&b and found La Casa Roja. The staff were fantastic, the three meals we ate there were beautiful and the restaurant itself was very traditionally Spanish.

Lovely ambiance. Annoying service. Nice wines. Both starters were expensive and of poor quality ( apple and blue cheese salad expensive and not great and scallops in a mushroom soup were cold for €10) Fish was expensive and not anything great. Chocolate dessert was superb and best part of the meal. Expensive for the average quality. This was our second... More

We were a party of four staying in Playa Blanca and decided to try La Casa Roja for an evening meal. We did not book but were able to get a table because we were quite early. We were given a friendly welcome and directed to a table where we could get a good view of the Marina. When we... More

First night in Playa Blanca we tried this restaurant because of the great options for gluten and lactose intolerant people. They bring you gluten free bread (no extra costs) and help you with courses outside the menu (fish of the day etc). Housewine not cheap (€6) but much better than other 'vino de la casa'. Better quality than the average... More

We were 3 mature couples who dined here on 2 occasions, We did not pre-book, but the Restaurant was quite busy. Staff were helpful and attentive. Menu had some interesting choices and between all of us, we tried many and none of us was disappointed. There are a number of great places to eat in the Rubicon Marina and this... More

we were looking for somewhere to eat for our wedding anniversary a few days later seated by maitre d' who then pontificated around his tables without ensuring his staff looked after the customers had constant hellos off waiters and waitress but after 30 mins no one had even brought a drinks or food menu we got up and left spent... Visited restaurant twice and enjoyed experience both times. Good varied menu at reasonable price. It got very busy early in the evening and noticed that a number of people were making bookings.
