Ate here twice over our 5 day stay. Good quality food. Pleasant staff. Great view and even better sunset! Helpful advice from waiter.

Me and my wife were the only customers in the restaurant it took like 30 mins to bring us the meals, it was only a chicken and a spaghetti, but I can say a good thing about the waitress that he was so kind. And...the food wasn't good at all.More
Good morning Mr. RudyT335 you were alone in the restaurant as you arrived at the opening. Ax we are a gourmet restaurant we accomodate 3 tables each 30 minutes for a better service. Unfortunately I remember your arrival as you immediately asked for a bathroom...More
Please look at my review for the restaurant posted under the hotel Boffenigo site. Excellent meal and experience. Highly recommended.
We picked out this restaurant for dinner from other trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is part of a beautiful hotel off the beaten track but perfectly located on the hill side with amazing views over the countryside, Garda and the...lake. We sat inside, as are all the tables, but with all the glass doors open the views are unhindered and fantastic. We sat at 7:30 and watched a beautiful sunset with our aperitifs served by the sommelier who explained all four bottles of sparkling wines were from local vineyards. When we asked for a rose wine for the meal he recommended a lovely local Bardolino wine which was only 20 Euros. The food was lovely, very nouvelle cuisine, but delicious. Service was super friendly and attentive. We went with our 8 and 10 year old girls and the menu included children’s meals which had delicious food they loved. We will definitely be back.More
Service and view are top notch!!! Wine program is amazing. Especially since they have to do it any a few different languages. Food was not as great but pretty good. The effort is there on the food but most dishes we had either needed another...element, more seasoning, or some acid. The ambiance is perfect. It’s a must try if in the area.More
We had an excellent dinner at the La Terrazza del Boff! Amazing view of the lake, exceptional service and delicious and beautiful dishes and superb wine. Very recommended!
The first thing you notice is the wonderful view, then the friendly staff, then you have large enough tables (sometimes difficult to get). Next thing is a menue with just enough options to make sure that the quality is very good. They offer complete mrnues...or à la carte. We went for the latter and it was a good decision, as it was enough for us. Happy, but not stuffed. Two courses plus one desert and everything was really tasty. And the bill at the end was a very positive surprise too. We can only recommend this restaurant.More
It is a really nice place when you want a great celebration and ready to spend money. High-cuisine with small but delicious portions, great choise of wine, nice service. This restaurant is the only restaurant in the hotel Boffenigo. It was great for a special...occasion, but next day I wanted to try something different. Scallops for a starter were amazing; both fish and meat dishes were cooked very well. A dinner for two without wine will cost around 100 euros; service charge (10 euros per person) is automatically included to the bill.More
A wonderful evening!! Lovely view from the terrace. Very good, friendly and spoiling service. After a beautiful antipasto, two of the three of us skipped il primo piatto. As the primo piatto was served, they served the two of us a mini version of the...pasta dish. We didn't asked for, but ofcourse we couldn't resist it and we didn't mind. ;) We totally enjoyed the very tasteful dinner. Grazie al chef!More
We stayed at the Boffenigo recently and ate at La Terrazza for four nights, so we got to know the menus pretty well. Situated where the hotel is, in the hills outside Costermano, the restaurant has a captive audience in its guests who don't have...a car and, in the main it does a good job. The meat, fish and vegetarian menus are all well put together, well prepared and well presented. The a la carte menu is simply a repetition of the same dishes and, as such, a little restrictive. Especially if you are obliged to eat there every night. We had an additional problem in that my wife is GF, which is boring for everybody. We soon discovered that there were very few dishes on the menu that she could eat. Unlike other 5-star hotels where we have stayed, the kitchen was not prepared to offer anything special, so we were obliged to eat outside the hotel for three nights of the seven we were there. This was definitely not the fault of Guiseppe, who did his best to be helpful, or his staff, in particular Gisele, who was always very agreeable and helpful. It simply demonstrated an unwillingness on the part of the kitchen to use their imagination and vary their choices. For instance, at the beginning of the meal on the first night we were offered, 'as a gift from the chef' one small ball of goat's cheese and a small caprese roll. The same 'gift' was offered every night we ate there. We were not impressed on day one and by day four we were positively unimpressed! Use your imagination chef! You are a very good chef. Don't become self-satisfied. That is the bane of good chefs. The really good ones never stop trying to impress. By the time we come back next year we hope you have earned your first Michelin star. You can do it.More
Booked this restaurant because of the great reviews. We wasn't dissapointed. We had the tasting menu which was amazing and each dish explained. Lots of local wine. The view is stunning as the sun goes down. Can't recommend the restaurant or the staff enough.
It is not the best thing if everyone is agreeing that the terrace has an amazing view - which it has. But since it is not a viewing point but a restaurant there is still place to improve. The food is well made but mostly...bland and not too creative - given the fact that the restaurant wants to be a gourmet one. The service could be more attentive although they are very nice, sometimes just a bit clueless. Not bad, but for the price not worth it.More
We had a leisurely meal at this restaurant. You eat on a terrace, in summer, looking down to Lake Garda. When we were there it was a warm evening and very pleasant. The service is attentive and very good, although the meal was served at...a relaxed pace. The food was excellent, although the choice felt slightly limited. We probably could not have eaten there two nights in a row. I had the pork for main and it was well cooked and presented. The deserts had a certain flare to them too. The aim is fine dining and it achieves that. If you are staying at the hotel the restaurant is to be recommended.More
Dinner in the restaurant Scalchi each evening of our stay at the hotel was a real gourmet experience, with all food cooked perfectly and beautifully presented, accompanied by some fantastic local wines. The staff were very attentive, ensuring each dinner was as special as the...spectacular views of the lake and sunset that we had from our table.More
We were staying a short drive away from the hotel and found the restaurant on TA while looking for somewhere to eat away from the main 'coast' towns. Luckily for us, the evening we chose was a buffet event (€30pp plus wine) which took place...in the garden, poolside, although I'm sure the a la carte service on the terrace on other days would be equally as good. Each course was beautifully served and presented and consisted of a wide selection of 'taster' dishes with a choice of different meat and fish for the main course with vegetables etc. The dessert table was also filled with different, tasty dishes and also a wide cheese selection. Fabiana and the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. If ever we return to the area, we will come back here with no hesitation.More
