I have been coming to Puglia for many years and have had the pleasure to try different restaurants in the area. Recently i have read many good reviews about Casa tu Martino in the picturesque city of Taviano. We were two couples interested in traditional food but with a twist. We decided to have a try and the experience started... More

We found it in Michelin guide and after having some unpleasant dinners around Gallipoli decided to trust the Guide. The setting is lovely - romantic, historic building, tables outdoor in the orchard. We took antipasti: octopus with nut purée (awesome!), aubergine pie - very tasty! The mix of local herbs/vegetables - I wish we skipped it - tasteless set of... More

A lovely quaint restaurant in a nice atmosphere. Good menu but could have a larger choice of dishes. They do have an excellent service which we discovered on arrival where they look after your children, feed and entertain them for free in a suitable space attached to the restaurant. My daughter danced, painted, and made balloon animals. At any point... More

We visited the restaurant this summer and it was a good thing we made a reservation. The food was very good and the vine that was recommended too. We have found that it is better to drink red instead of white vine on the south of Italy. The restaurant is nicety decorated. The food is fresh and from local Ingredients.

Kicked off our holiday with a wonderful dinner here. Food was very good and all ingredients so fresh and local. I am vegetarian and had plenty of options.. My carnivorous husband had a great time too. All set in a lovely garden twinkling with lights in the trees. It was everything we hoped Puglian food would be.

Exactly what you want and what you expect from a bid gourmand rated restaurant. Food is great, fresh and local ingredients and the chef is great in combining them together. I could eat here one week in a row. Staff is nice.

I had been to this restaurant several years ago and had incredibly fond memories of the food. I believe a change in ownership must have taken place as the meal I had there recently was not at all distinguished. Their cooked vegetable plate as an antipasto offered very little merit, all were overcooked and hadn't been drained properly so we're... More

Lovely location no doubt. The food was nothing special, we would not go there again. The staff could work on their service skills.

This has been the best place I have been for dinner in a long time! The atmosphere is amazing, a wonderful garden and a nice interior in the restaurant itself. The food is delicious, the service very good and the price for the quality of the food is more than honest. We enjoyed a dinner in the garden on warm... More

We was in August in this typical location, in a large group (14 people). The place was wery interesting, in a old house/hotel with a nice and large court. Because of time (it was raining ) we had the dinner inside. They had several big rooms, very characteristic furnitures and friendly waiters. After a lot of small appetizers, we chose... More

Description
The restaurant A Casa tu Martinu, renovates on April 2016, offers a typical Apulian cuisine since 1997. The restaurant features several rooms: the 'wide chimney room', the 'small romantic room', the 'historical garden' perfect for dinners or happy hours. You can also find the event room suitable for business dinners or small receptions based on local cuisine. The restaurant A Casa tu Martinu is glad to offer a renowned, tasty and comfortable dining experience. The renovation works have given an evocative and relaxing atmosphere to the restaurant, still preserving the traditional character. The menu offers a wide range of typical Mediterranean dishes suitable for all those who love healthy and high protein vegetarian food instead of food high in calories. We steady focus our efforts on choosing the very best our region can offer in terms of healthy food and seasonal produce.
