Italian restaurants in a far away kibbuz always provoke scepticism in me. This time totaly wrong. everything we got was very good. whoever cooks there is my kind of magician. The portions are relatively small (and so the cost...), the best is to sample many....More

With all the parameters combined, it is the best. Tasty dishes with a twist, amazing atmosphere, great owners. It's a hidden gem really.. and they want to keep it that way.

It is an extremely nice place and it is with no doubt a leader in that local area (all other restaurants we have visited near Kinneret were just failures). The restaurant is placed in an old building and we set in the lodge. The service...More

We had heard about this little pearl located in Deganya Aleph close to the Kinneret and were looking for an opportunity to go. Our party, being a vegan, a vegetarian a meat eater and a fish lover are not always easy to cater for. Fortunately...More

Description
The restaurant is nested in the heart of kibbutz Degania Alef, adjacent to the Sea of Galilee. The patio faces the pastoral courtyard, surrounded by century old structures. The interior is separated into a primary dining room, complemented by the presence of a bar both comfortable and welcoming, and a romantic dining area, featuring an entire wall decorated by a wooden wine display. Upon entering the building, guests are received by an impressive authentic Italian stone-oven. For the menu, the Italian-Mediterranean kitchen features pizzas and foccacias from the stone-oven, fish and seafood, handmade pastas, and an array of colorful and modern desserts. The atmosphere is warm and homey, the waiters are well groomed and uniformed, and the service is meticulous. And in the background, a playlist from the Italian classics, through the French chanson, the bouzouki of Greece, and finally the legends of rock.
