First time eating in this tea room located near the cliff railway at the end of the high street and a short walk from Bridgnorth castle.Ordered the cauliflower soup which came in a very large bowl served with thick chunks of bread....a bargain at £4.85 and very filling. They also do a soup and a sandwich deal in quite a varied... Reasonable price, good portion sizes, good service, not in the best location (off the end of the high street close to the Costa Coffee) which may be why so many locals use it; My wife and I both had Pannini, which were excellent.

When ever we come to Bridgnorth we always pay a visit here. My two darlings under 3 are always welcomed by the staff, which allows me to eat a couple of bites! The childrens food always comes out first which is brilliant as they don't quite get the concept of patience. The cheese scones are to die for! Always take... More

We Visited the tearooms on our way into town, lovely atmosphere and great location. We had BLT sandwiches which arrived promptly and tasted as good as they looked. The coffee was good and the homemade cakes on display looked divine, we will definately be visiting again! very friendly staff and attentive service!

My wife and I are on holiday in the area for a few days with our 2 dogs. This café seems to be one of the very few places in Bridgnorth city centre that allows dogs into their premises. Of the others that we have tried some allow dogs onto an outside part of their premises; at least one allows... More

Having struggled to find doggy friendly, wheelchair accessible we happened upon Castle Tea Rooms. A great cup of coffee and a choice of soups. I had the Caribbean Squash and Apricot soup which came with door step of lovely bread and generous portion of butter. Delicious! A real find. When back in the area we will certainly revisit this jewel... More

Have used this tea room for the last 14 years, but the service on 11th March was very poor. We place our order, received our drinks and then was forgotten for 20 minutes. When we enquired as to our food order we were told that the order had been lost. In my opinion this was due to too many staff... More

Quite an unassuming tea room but the menu is quite extensive and all 'homemade'. A choice of soups and small or large portion served with a 'chunk' of fresh bread. The sandwiches look good and the cooked meals are gorgeous all cooked freshly. They are very happy to cater for children. The only downside is that as it is so... More

We come here probably twice a year and always very consistent. Food always good and good choice for a tea room. Only thing we feel is that the children's menu is a bit expensive!
