My sister and I took our mom as a birthday treat. It was a beautiful atmospheric tea room, beautifully decorated and the staff were wonderfully attentive; nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend a...More

Favourite stop for tea and brunch in Bridgnorth, right next to the cable cars taking people from High town to Low town. Shropshire loose leaf tea was recommend to us - and we really enjoyed it!

We often visit this tea room for a hot drink and a tea cake. Today we decided on a breakfast sandwich, bacon for me, sausage and bacon for my husband. How disappointing. There was hardly any bacon on the very thick bread making it taste...More

Myself and my husband go to Bridgenorth frequently and go for coffee, tea and cake this is definitely the best place to go even better in the summer when you can sit outside and watch the clifftop railway. Will hopefully be going for afternoon tea...More

I’ve visited this place many times before, but never as a big group. All the food we ordered was made fresh and we couldn’t fault any of it... I love this place and will be returning again and again!

Very good staff, perfect location overlooking the funicular and Severn Valley. Typical but good quality tea shop menu with sandwiches, good choice of teas and coffees. Highly recommended.

Delightful few hours spent in this charming little building perched right next to the oldest and steepest electric funicular railway in Britain. Beautiful views of the railway and the wonderful Shropshire countryside . I had pre booked the tea and had explained our dietary requirements....More

Access is an issue - the entrance takes you immediately to the top of a steep spiral staircase, past the engine room of the railway (there is a window to see the mechanism) and then into the cafe, which is characterful and cosy. There are...More

A delightful Victorean inspired licensed tea room with a beautiful garden terrace and glorious views over the River Severn and Low Town. Serving light lunches, morning and afternoon tea seven days a week (Please note that we only use fresh ingredients delivered daily, therefore it is always best to book at least 24hrs in advance for Afternoon Teas to avoid disappointment. Due to the unique nature and quaint charm of our property our kitchen is very small and this may cause delays during busy periods however we will make sure that it was worth the wait!! You can watch the Cliff Railway operating and see the winding house for the railway in action from the tea rooms. We offer exceptional service and food made fresh on the premises using local ingredients, make this place a must see on a visit to Bridgnorth.
