We decided on Bridgnorth today, a beautiful little town. We had the duck, lamb and homemade burger. All three meals tasted fantastic with pleasant and efficient service. We sat in the bar area where our mini schnauser was allowed. Our son said it was the best burger he had ever had! Cant wait to come back.

A very cosy old inn. Deservedly popular. The food is not cheap but, given the quality of the cooking, it is good value. Mains around £14-£17. There is an interesting specials board and a cheaper lunchtime menu. We tried the duck and the belly pork - both excellent. Vegetarian options available. Good real ales, including a dark beer. Excellent friendly... More

Called in at the Kings Head on a cold & wet Friday to receive a warm welcome from the place and the staff - it was warm, and they were welcoming. Seated in moments and drinks order taken and menu delivered and specials pointed. Staff were courteous efficient and appropriately friendly. The cafe latte and the pint of Peaky Blinder... More

On a Saturday in December this was a very busy restaurant, the bar was busy too so it was a bit noisy, to be expected I suppose. The food was delicious, well cooked & politely served. An enjoyable meal.

A Monday lunchtime visit in early February and whilst the rest of Bridgnorth was fairly quiet, the King Head was busy - and as we had visited previously, we knew why! This time there was a young guy acting as Maitre D, quickly finding us a small table for two, near to the open fire. Drinks order was taken and... More

We really enjoyed our meal at The Kings Head. Specialises in fish dishes which are extremely good. Decent value for money. Staff were really friendly.

Came here for Sunday lunch yesterday with my mum. First of all thank you so much for squeezing us in as I only called to book on Saturday night! So glad I did as the food was wonderful- great portion sizes and reasonably priced. The service was also fantastic, everyone that served us was lovely. We both left very happy... More

Had lunch at the kings head. Very warm welcome from all three of the bar staff and a very lovely open fire to keep us warm on a wet & windy day. It's been quite a while since we last ate at the kings head. The lunch menu has changed a little but is good value. The food was piping... More
