Ate here 3 times with friends - great food, very friendly staff. Had bresoala pizza, seafood spaghetti, butter/sage ravioli, nettle pasta, gnocchi and more. All very enjoyable. Had to wait one evening for a reserved table and were treated with prosecco on the house. Would...highly recommend, would book beforehand if you want to guarantee a place outside.More

Always great home cooked classic dishes, a brilliant midday fixed menu for 12Euro's.. Staff were great too.

We ate here twice when staying in the village and ate very well both times. The food was very tasty and authentic to the best Italian home cooking - the service was excellent despite it being extremely busy at the weekend.

It always has been a hit and miss place, I regret to report. I remember a "fish" meal one time, a mountain of chips and I had to get new glasses to sport the fish bits. This time it was poor service [lady throws plates...on your table, no "prego!" Nulla!! Better training needed... Next dogs enter the place. Dog 1 no problem, but next dog 2 arrives and, of course, starts barking. I come to a restaurant to have a nice meal in a comfortable place, not to be treated to barking animals during a meal. If I want to meet animals I visit the zoo. Only thing good of the meal: the nice brown bread. Hence the 1 "star" is for that...More

We ate here twice during our 3 day stay. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Everything was delicious, fresh, homemade. The service is attentive. The restaurant has a tourist menu for €12 with 3 courses and wine. Dinner inside is more formal. I recommend...the cingiale stew, spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage sauce and the baked beans with rosemary. Molto bene!More

We've been to circolo dei forestieri multiple times, for dinner and lunch. Every time we've been there, the food was delicious. Beautiful building, good service and delicious food, also multiple options for vegetarians. One of the best restaurants we've eaten all vacation

We returned to Bagni di Lucca for a few days and wanted to see if the Circolo Dei Forestieri was still as good as it had been when we visited over the last 2 years. It was! Absolutely excellent food and service again and unbeatable...value with their tourist lunch menu. Great team of waiting staff - friendly efficient fast and constantly multi tasking - a really well run operation, with excellent food in a great location. It can get very busy, so makes sense to reserve a table a day or two prior to visiting if possible (especially in August) although if you turn up by chance they will always try to accommodate you if at all possible. Five stars again and we hope to return in 2021.More

I’ve eaten here twice in a week. Both times for lunch. It’s great value for money! The lunch menu is typically Tuscan and has a wide range. Get there by 12:30pm or book ahead to avoid disappointment in high season.

I highly recommend having the multi-course luncheon that features traditional Tuscan food. Everything is well prepared and the prices are definitely reasonable. The dining room is large and airy. Don't miss the view from the back balcony.

The restaurant is in a really splendid old building and the food, service and atmosphere are excellent. Very nice outside seating area for a pre dinner drink too. 👍
