So after Brogans re-opened my wife and i popped in for some lunch, we had a garlic bread with cheese to start (shared it), couldn't taste any garlic, was just a ciabbatta sliced in half and loaded with chedder cheese, very oily and basically just cheese on toast. The cajun chicken burger was ok, nothing special, my wife had the... More

This local pub/restaurant has a historic and inviting atmosphere. We were there in mid-April and the clientele seemed to be mostly locals with some tourists. Our waiter recommended the Steak On A Stone and it was one of the best steaks I've had in my life. Accompanied by chips and a Guinness I was in heaven! Friendly wait staff, good... More

We took refuge from the rain and had lunch for 7 people here and were not disappointed. My dad had a lovely vegetable soup for starters and then chose the chicken wings, but found the portion size of the chicken wings too small. My mum, my husband and myself had the steak sandwich which was lovely and a good portion... More

We had visited Brogan's Bar and Restaurant a few times as we live locally but had never tried steak. We recently visited with family and had the Steak on the Stone recommended by the waitress and we were not disappointed. It is probably the best steak we have ever had! It is an experience in itself which should not be... More

If you are a steak lover, do not miss this restaurant. Their Fish and Chips are great, the Irish Fry-up is enough for two...but when you are having a Guinness and settling in; you will notice a great many people getting the "Steak on a Stone" entree. It is outstanding! Three complementing sauces come on the side. The steak is... More

We were in Trim visiting family and we all ate at this pub. Spicy chicken wings appetizers were rightly done. Crispy and not too greasy. Main entree we all ordered the steak on a stone, on our waitress' recommendation. Was one of the best steaks we had had. It's a filet mignon pan seared and served on a hot stone.... More

Brogans has been in Trim for years and despite several expansion and changes of managemnet has always had an excellent reputation for quality. The current team is no exception and you are assured of a warm welcome be yoiu local or a tourist. This is a little bit of thereal Ireland and the best place in Trim to encounter this.... More

Too bad if you don't eat meat - there really is nothing on the menu for you. Trying to get an ordinary garden/green salad proved too much for the kitchen team and took several tries - eventually turning up with an acceptable salad but with cheese - specified no cheese and without chilies - as requested. Also, nachos - absolutely... More
