Mainstream Hungarian cuisine, normal portions, maybe too many side dishes compare to the meat, but nothing extraordinary, yet the prices are fairly high.

Good food, long waiting time, high prices

We visited Robinson restaurant for a dinner, friday night. 4 adults and on child 2 and a half years old. There was not enough space inside, but waiters were helpfull for provision of table. One waiter spoke Croation (so you can use Serbian as well), English, other one spoke German. For prices which are more expensive than in any restaurant in Harkany, quality was not that good. Speed of delivery, even more. We waited for ordered food way to long. ...and this was in out of season period, where only inside permices of restaurant were filled. Do not want to know how it would be in June/July... Also, even though there were marks in menu to point out alergens, milk, wheat, and similar, there were no explanations what is inside a dish (other than pork, chicken, and in some cases not even that). At the end, quality of food is good, but not for those prices. Waiting time, with great potential for improvement.

Very good restaurant with lots of variety food. Service is very good. It is comfortable to sit and enjoy on the terrace. Quality of food is good. Prices are moderate not expensive.

Been here several times. Food is mediocre, intended for french fries and coke lovers, but the worst thing is the service. When asked for salad without sugar (Hungarians tend to sugar their lettuce!!??), a guy in short pants (supposedly a waiter, can you imagine??!) brought us a small 'sample' of the already prepared so called salad and slammed the tea saucer with this sample on the table so that it had almost shattered in front of us. We simply left - these people will not see me ever again for sure.

Dissappointing

The food is average and the restaurant has a retro 90s vibe. Surprisingly I wasn't able to pay with card, which shouldn't be a problem in 2022 in my opinion.. Also, I was shocked by the receipt - I haven't seen anything like this, ever :)

If you you deserve proper hungarian food,best place to go

I highly recommend for everyone to visit the Robinson Restaurant in Harkány.The staff is lovely,very helpful,explaining the choices if you don't know what are the dishes exactly.On the menu you can see pictures about the options,they have very delicious main courses,salads,amazing desserts as well.My favourite was a such a fantastic garlic soup.We went back twice as we have been extremely happy with the food and the service.It's very convenient, if wish to have a pleasant time with the family with superb meals.

My boyfriend and I decided to have lunch here after a quick scan over TripAdvisor reviews. We had just gone to the baths around the corner and were starving. On arrival, we were seated upstairs in a lovely lounge. We noticed quickly that there was a large number of staff standing around. After being seated for roughly 3-5 minutes, we were not offered menus or anything of the sort. The waiters just kept walking past us aimlessly, so my boyfriend decided to get up and grab us some menus. One of the waiters then very rudely came over and told him to sit down, and then passed us menus. He then walked away and told his colleagues by pointing and waving his hands in the air at us about my boyfriend getting up to get menus since no one of their staff seemed to do so. He was rolling his eyes at us, and making a scene obvious for us to see. This made me very uncomfortable to know that this waiter within seconds was pointing and making us feel unwelcome. We ordered a burger and Caesar salad, which came quickly. However, my boyfriends burger was dripping in oil when it arrived, and anytime he took a bite, oil would gush out the back. It was quite disgusting to look at. I ordered a Caesar salad, with prawns which was simply leaves, absolutely drenched in sauce, with 6 prawns, for which I paid almost 14€ for. The service was poor, the food range was quite broad, however the prices do not match the quality of the meals. I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch.

The restaurant is on the main street of Harkány We were out to dinner two nights, and both are worth it. Service is impeccable. The prices are a bit high, but sometimes it can afford. For this money, you can eat very delicious meals. Winter time is not full, that's why this time intimate atmospher.

I suppose this is kind of Hungarian national restaurant. Food was greasy, salty and spicy. The bread bowl garlic soup was OK, the waiter miss the dish for kid, husband was satisfy with goulash. Service could be better.

Excellent food and service! Employees speak Croatian too. Portions of food are large and you can't get out still being hungry 🍞🍜🍢 Lot of Balkan food included in meny.

Best restaurant in the town

We tried to visit it several times but the place was always full, unfortunately. One night we could finally get a table there, and we weren't disappointed. The waiter was really professional and kind, and the food was tasty. They had gluten free and paleo dishes as well, next to the Hungarian dishes. I was in several restaurants in the city, and this one was the best. I can recommend them!
