This was an expensive meal for a lot of food that was inedible. We did want fresh seafood but it was very expensive, we ordered calamari which was fresh and tasted good, but all of our other dishes we couldn't finish because they tasted bad. The dolmadicas were cold and the vine leaf around them tough as if it hadn't... More

This restaurant has a really friendly staff and serves fresh fish. The food was good, but nothing special. Still, it was very nice that we got some watermellon in the end.

We had the chance to visite this restaurant 2 times...the owner is a fisherman who has his fishing boat parked in the sea just infront the restaurant. ..you may enjoy watching the fish inside the net..the atmosphere of the resturant is romantic. .the service is very friendly..the prices is very reasonable.

Simple taverna, limited menu. Nothing special - just ok. The outside could be improved and the service also. The other taverna in Monolithos is better.

During our 10 day visit of Santorini in June 2015, we enjoyed Skramagas fish taver three times! The owner Mr Vangelis does his own fishing every day, thus ensuring freshness. This family, original type of Greek tavern is just like the good old days. Good meals, clean, reasonable - honest prices. To boot, Sofia speaks good English and is always... More

My husband and I were brought here on a semi-private tour and we really enjoyed it and loved the price. The food was good and plentiful and one of the house cats even sits up and begs! It does have a local feel and we spied the cook cleaning the fish that her husband had caught that morning. If you... More

This traditional family taverna is well worth a visit, especially if you love fresh seafood. Close to the beach, look for the wooden boats outside. Be prepared for a warm welcome and delicious Greek cuisine.
