Great family meal with top service. Good menu and specials - especially impressed with the separate gluten free menu as I am a coeliac sufferer. Food was hot, delicious and portions were generous. Very good value and an excellent view out to see. Toilets clean...More

The view from where we were sitting is wonderful. The staff are friendly and competent, going out of their way to make way for our large party. Our meal was very good, the portions are substantial. The service was slow which was probably due to...More

Food was actually better than i expected it to be. Chicken and leek pie was lovely and contained loads of filling. Linguine and risotto were also very good. Would be 5 star but wait for food was 50 minutes after ordering, however sat in the...More

We stopped eating here a few years ago because the food was nothing special and the pub itself was becoming tired. The decor is pretty much the same but the food has taken a big step up the quality ladder! Steak was superb as was...More

Standard pub fare, but a good place to take a break if you are doing the Viking trail. Lot of options in terms of food and they have got good outdoor seating which is nice on a sunny day.

We tried to go in here but were refused because we had our dog with us. I've never known a pub which refuses to allow dogs inside before! The outside area of this pub looks quite grotty and inside wasn't much better. Don't waste your...More

Popped in here for the first time in what seems decades and to be fair not a lot has changed. The place whilst clean and tidy just looks and smells tiered and under funded by the owners, Thorley Taverns. So so dated with the dark...More

We visited with our family. There was an hour's wait. Our younger son played in the soft play area which killed some of the time. I wish we'd booked a table beforehand as we didn't get to eat until gone 2pm. However, the food at...More

Hi I'm not sure whether dogs are allowed inside but they supply water bowls outside and we have seen dogs waiting for tasty morsels to fall from the wooden tables! John
