Although this is a fairly simple hotel, the location is amazing as it juts out over the beach. We had a room overlooking the sea with floor to ceiling windows in both the bedroom and the bathroom and watched the Atlantic waves breaking onto the shore. Don't just keep to the beach - visit Comillas old town which is definitely... More

We stayed here for a couple of night during a visit to Northern Spain. Comillas is a delightful small town, well worth a visit and the hotel is ideally positioned on the beach. I would have give 5 stars for the view alone but I was let down by the service. We came back on the second afternoon and decide... More

We stayed here recently for 2 nights. Not much in the hotel as such but we spent all our time in the room looking out at the ocean, it's fab and very relaxing. Private staircase onto beach & you can watch the world go by. Enjoyed wandering into the old town, 5-8 min walk via little cut through and enjoyed... More

The restaurant always seemed busy at lunch and dinner but not sure why, perhaps people can't be bothered climbing the paths to the old town? We had lunch when we first arrived and my wife's chicken salad was very poor, limp lettuce, too much fr ied croutons and dry battered cut up pieces of chicken.I had the seafood risotto which did... We spent two weeks in Spain hiking the Camino del Norte. This was our favorite hotel! It's situated above the beach with dramatic views of the coastline. They have a private staircase down to the beach for walking. Our room was spacious & clean, with a window wall for beach views. Both dinner & breakfast were great & staff was... More

We stayed at the hotel recently. See separate review. We would normally not choose to eat at a hotel restaurant, but it was a hot day, the terrace and view was inviting and the food being served looked good. Lunch was excellent, Russian salad, croquettes and tuna. All delicious and just right for lunch. Waiter spoke good English and was... More

A great stop-off for lunch on the way to Asturias. The broad beans with serrano ham were excellent! We also stopped to see some Gaudi architecture while we were in town.
