I discovered this place by chance and we loved it! We repeat with friends. The food is well made and the dishes are very tasty. It is the closest thing I have tried to the memories I have of my Mallorcan grandmother's recipes. The fried fish, mantanzas, snails, goat and brut rice are very good. It should be noted that the owner cares and advises you in quantities so that you do not overdo it (that says a lot in his favor) we will return and the Next time I will dare to use my hands

We rented a villa just a short walk from this restaurant so wandered in and have to say the food was good traditional style. I had the Pigs Trotters followed by one of the specialities, Suckling Pig, which turned out to be a roast hock. We all enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service and the local red wine was as good as it gets, smooth and full bodied. See photo.

Had to visit as we were staying in Maria. We were not disappointed. Good wholesome Mallorcan cuisine. How fortunate we had one in our party who spoke Spanish as the staff do not speak English (& why should they). I must learn! Saturday night 9pm it was full of local families, just lovely. A brilliant buzzing atmosphere. I was pleasantly shocked when I opened the door on entry. It is a large seating area. There was 10 of us, we had not booked, however that was no problem. We had mussels, mixed croquettes, fried squid & a liver dish cooked with a mixed veg as starters. For main most of us went for the Mallorcan dirty rice/soup dish. It was gorgeous, as were all the dishes. Very tasty & filling. We didn't need any sweets at all. Of course we went for Binassalem red wine (Euro7 a bottle). It was just perfect. Our total bill was under Euro150. VFM indeed,, The staff were very attentive & entertaining to say the least.

After reading the opinion of many customers, I'm still doubting that this restaurant is dedicated to "Spanish" cuisine, as you labelled it. I'm sure that in Spain you can't eat "frit mallorquí" or "sopes mallorquines" or "porcella". Why you don't have a label for Catalan cuisine or Majorcan cuisine?

Worth walking the short distance out of town to get to this restaurant, related to sa canyeta in the town square, this place is full of locals and serves great Mallorcan dishes. Friendly village atmosphere. Snails popular along with fish dishes and suckling pig.

We were delighted to find somewhere that was heaving with people when we were travelling in a remote location out of season. The menu of the day was great value, though the food was indifferent. It reminded me of an over 80s lunch club, but it was heartening to see a place that was so loved by the locals who looked after each other. Toilets downstairs which is a bonus as often they are upstairs in Spain

Pitched up here looking for a late lunch and was delighted that we did. The menu Del dia was excellent value at 9€ and the staff were friendly and efficient. It's primarily a local restaurant, and all the better for it. It looks like it has outside space for the summer.

We visited outside the main tourist season, and it was difficult to find nice restaurants with fresh food and some other people. This restaurant proved to be different, the food was good and not expensive, there were lots of locals and a nice atmosphere. Definitively recommendable!

The place looks simple but there is a nice hidden terrace at the back of the restaurant. A lot of local customers which is, too me, a good indication of quality. The owner and the waiter are very gentle and gave us good advices. The food is simply cooked but tastes very good. They cook every day fresh. We have been there several times. We recommend.
