We found this restaurant suddenly when looking a quiet place for evening drinks. After first evening we had there more 3 dinners. The restaurant is located in corner of Maria de Salut's town square. The first look is modest but this is tricky - once placed there you can find splendid menu of local meals and good wine list with Mallorcan wines. The kitchen make good work - all our meals (but we tried to try different things there) exceeded our expectations. The meals were simply made - without any weird fancy culinary adding's or tricks but extremely tasty! What could be better than properly seasoned and freshly grilled sea bass! But food is food. The main gem are two ladies who serving there: they are extremely kind and helpful. Always smiling even busy evening gets them lots of running. Good thing is, that there is option to reserve table for the next evening and preorder local fresh fish for the next dinner. If I find myself back in Mallorca, I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Thank You!

A very nice Valentine's night, the food was very well prepared, on point, the service was excellent, thanks for the details. Very warm atmosphere, with a marine decoration that makes the evening peaceful. A luxury we have, in an inland town in Mallorca.

Fantastic Mediterranean cuisine, great service. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest details. Very fresh fish and extensive wine list. Very honest prices. Absolutely recommended! Thank you for making us have a wonderful evening. Stephen

You sit really nicely in a large space. The children can run and play there safely. But that's all. The sea bream was delicious but one side was still completely raw. The side salad is from a ready-made bag. Oh well. The steak was completely raw, medium was what we wanted. It was only after complaining twice and grilling it again that it was OK, but then it was tough and gristly. The children's meal was plentiful and went down well (fish fingers and chips). Drinks were reasonably priced. The bill including a starter, wine, bread and water was 64 euros. We've eaten much better for that!

I made a reservation at Sa Canyeta last June on a Saturday, intending for it to go as well as ever. There were a lot of diners and only three girls as waitresses. (I don't know if the premises have been transferred, the issue was not addressed by either Guiem or Aina). It took them more than 20 minutes to come and order our drink, even though I raised my arm so they could see me. We ordered some beers, they still took a while to come and order our food after calling them, the excuse was "we are full today"... (So don't take so many tables...easy solution, right?) Between one one thing and the other we started dinner at 10:45, when we had the reservation at 9:15 and we were very punctual. Ah! After serving us the food, they still took 10 minutes to bring us the bottle of wine we ordered... anyway. The table behind us got up without eating around 11:30. When the waitresses passed each other, they spoke to each other in signals towards different tables, in short, a very bad organization. I hope this message reaches you so that you can improve.

Service very poor (needed to wait 20min+ just to get the menu), food extremely poor (burger undercooked, calamari were deep fried in an oil which seems to not have been changed for months, salad not washed)

Came here for meal after reading good reviews. What a mistake! We had the mixed croquettes and tortillas for starters which were nice enough, however before we had chance to finish the starters the serving staff came and started snatching the plates away. I told them that I hadn't finished and then my main course was plonked down next to my starter. It was so obvious they wanted us to hurry the first course because the mains were ready. I hate being rushed and we all felt that the staff were rushing people through. We were not asked if we were satisfied and to be honest the staff were so preoccupied I don't think anyone cared if we enjoyed it or not. Just to note our mains were hamburger, shoulder of lamb and pork tenderloin. The pork was as dry as a bone and very stringy. Save yourself the time and effort and give this a miss.

Of all of the restaurants in the square you have to go here. We shared a starter of mixed fried seafood and then had mains of grilled prawns and John Dory with prawns. To drink we had a large beer and a bottle of rose and then white wine, followed by coffee and licquers. Food and beverages were faultless, especially the fish and it all cost less than €70. Absolutely outstanding.

Another great restaurant in this lovely town, again full of locals, there was only one other tourist there as far as we could see. Great fresh paella and the chef came out to ask if we're enjoying it, good local wine to accompany the meal. My wife had traditional Mallorca pudding and loved it to.

We had spent the day trying to get away from the usual Mallorcan tourist trail and found this tapas bar by chance. It's situated in the town square of a very pretty village. It's modern and well decorated inside (with modern and clean bathrooms) but we chose to sit in the town square so we could enjoy the sun. The menu is all in Spanish which we were happy about as we were trying to find somewhere that didn't have a menu in every European language. We ordered a couple of coffees and 3 tapas to share between us. The owner was very friendly (despite our language barrier) and the food arrived promptly. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Prawns in panko breadcrumbs, jalapeños with cheese in breadcrumbs and fries with padre peppers. Our total bill came to around €18 which was incredibly reasonable. We will definitely go back there if we're in Mallorca again.
