Very busy restaurant in Naoussa old town. Practically impossible to make a reservation. Tried to make one myself but was told nothing available for a week ahead. We were very lucky as our reservation was made by our hotel. Food was amazing and so is...the wine. The only blemish was that we sat for an hour after we finished our dinner and no one came by to ask if we wanted anything else or if we wanted our check. I had to go and look for someone to bring us the check.More

Tis is an excellent restaurant In Naoussa, Paros and bookings are essential The tables outside are in the small laneways and are always full, with non booked hovering around in hope of a table The menu is extensive and everything is very very good The...wine lists are extensive and come in hand written books, one for whites and one for the reds In spite of it being probably the best restaurant around, the prices are reasonable My first place to try next time I visit ParosMore

The wine list was extensive and the food was excellent - white roe, lamb cooked with grape leaves, and beet hummus were standouts. The sommelier was very personal and informative. Definitely eating there again!

The restaurant was beautiful with an interesting menu. Excellent appetizers (especially the charred octopus). The main dishes were good but nothing exceptional considering the price. The most disappointing was the staff. Many of them were rude and unfriendly. I understand that it may be a...frustrating job with lots of tourists but it was uncomfortable being there. We made a reservation and did not take our name or number and were confused when we arrived. This is unacceptable for a restaurant of this calibre.More

One of the worst service experiences we have come across. We had a table booked beforehand but was made to wait 45 minutes for a table to become free, during which time they repeatedly sat people who arrived after us. Whilst we were waiting awkwardly...in the small space next to the restaurant, the shop owner next door complained we were blocking her window which just made for an even more awkward experience for us (of course not the restaurants fault but unfortunate we were put in this position because of them). During this time a few waiters asked us for our name and reservation details, all of them gave off a very unwelcoming and almost rude vibe whilst not being at all helpful or managing any kind of time expectation. Eventually a kind couple offered us their table as we had a booking before them and the waiter proceeded to question this as though we were lying and make us feel very uncomfortable. As he served us he had a very rude demeanour and was completely unapologetic. The food was nice but not the best we had. We then proceeded to have to ask for the bill 3 times which eventually came after half hour. Overall the service really ruined our evening. We would not return or recommend this restaurant which is a shame as if the service improved it would be a lovely spot.More

The food was really good well cooked and me and my friends were really satisfied. However since I speak a little Greek, I couldn't help but overhear a staff's rude behavior towards a group of Greek girls. He did not want to let the girls...in just because they were Greek! For me that was really shocking since we were in Greece and they wanted to only serve foreign customers. Overall the experience was quite good but that little conversation I heard really threw me off.More

This is by far the best restaurant in all of Paros and perhaps the Greek islands. This was our 4 visit to Yemeni and like in 2018 and 2020 our experience this summer (2021) was amazing. We would return here every year if possible. Please...support this locally run restaurant who serve high quality food and have excellent staff, you will not be disappointed. I recommend booking in advance so as not to be disappointed, they are very popular. Highly recommend: Buffalo beef Starter Moussaka Beef short rib Orange cakeMore

Once you have experienced Yemeni all the other restaurants, whilst excellent won’t just quite hit the same mark. A lot of restaurants in Naoussa, and there is the odd exception to this with Archipelago and Karina serve a modern twist on Greek dishes but just...not like Yemeni. The menu is varied and there is a balanced choice of dishes as well as some specials of the day, it caters for all dietary requirements which some of the other restaurants state they do but don’t. All the staff are friendly and attentive, a particular mention has to go their Sommelier with his handwritten extensive wine menus, and who always recommended a good wine, the owner (even though he’s an Everton fan) is the hub of everything that goes on in the restaurant and is full of character which just adds to the restaurants special and unique atmosphere. I would advise to book well in advance if you want to eat here. We don’t often go to the same restaurant more than once when on holiday, but we we did with Yemeni, we saved our second visit until the last night having booked upon leaving our first visit. The owner even placed us at the same table which I thought was a really nice touch. If you go anywhere to eat in Naoussa, eat at Yemeni you won’t regret it and you will want to go back.More

Yemeni Wine Restaurant serves delicious food, with local touch and has an excellent wine card. We arrived later than our reservation time, but after a little wait at the bar we were seated at even better table than we had booked. The guy you do...reservations with remembered where we were from from the previous day’s encounter and what time we made reservation for. The only minus for me were long waits for being able to order and at the end bringing the check, and also that they seemed to mix up our check by putting wrong prices for the wine and starter, eventually they corrected the wine price, but not the starter. It all seemed not intentional and because of high traffic and the extremely delicious food made up big time for these small inconvenience.More

Yes that would be enough time. We took our time and taking into account you get complimentary bread and a selection of dips, we wouldn’t have fitted in a starter anyway. We sat indoors-much better than outside for us... More
