I recently thought of giving a treat for my family and decided to book dining at the falls at the Tamara coorg.... I contacted manager sudhir and he offered me a package that was worth the experience my family had over there....The price was very...much reasonable for the efforts the team put in and for the overall experience my family had.... I am really impressed with the service they offered....All food items were very impressive and tasted damn good...Ambience is mind blowing....Once they realized it was my birthday they even brought a cake and I was really shocked looking how considerate they were.... The experience couldn't have been any better....I would defenetly recommend people to stop by and enjoy their service...... Thank you Team tamara coorg.....and my special thanks to Mr. Sudhir, the food and safety manager at tamara coorg for making the day so wonderful to my family....you are doing a great job....Keep up the good work....cheers🥰More

We went for afternoon snacks. The service and ambiance are good and the location is excellent. The food was good. However, I have a serious complaint about the restaurant. It is dimly lit, the floor is wooden with different levels. There are no demarcating lines...between different levels. It is a trap where people can easily trip. This happened with a senior lady in our group. She could easily have had a fracture. This a serious problem which needs urgent attention. A.K. SrivastavaMore

We had all 3 meals here for 2 days. . sampled all the cuisines on offer (North indian, continental, pan asian, south indian, coorgi) Recommended dishes - Pandi / pork curry (coorgi style - spicy and nice), Chicken 65, Peking fried rice, jackfruit curry and...jaggery coffee. Ambience - 5 / 5 -- outdoor seating; superb - Note - the only thing that does not sit well with me is the massive amount of pesticide spraying that would be taking place every day ... ensuring that hardly any insect ever makes an appearance. . its slightly abnormal isnt it... !! Portions - large 5 / 5 Service - excellent 5 / 5 Taste - 4.5 / 5;More

We had heard so much of this resort we visited the same for lunch .We were allowed only up to a point in our own vehicle and then we were transported in eco friendly trolleys to the restaurant .We passed through the huge accreage resort...with luxurious 🌲 🏠 coffee spices and flowing water . They had a fix menu sitting buffet which was very tasty .The estate view was green and could while away our time here Yes expensive stay but can relax and can recover your energy staying within the resortMore

Food was good, but according to us the ambience of the place is the limelight. It is very nice, beautiful with falls on one side and natural water flowing sound continuously coming while you are having your meal.

It has wonderful ambience with gurgling streams right under your feet literally. But, their food and even service are somewhat raw. They are all trying to do well but, don't know how! Their main Indian fare is average multi-cuisine joint variety but their soups, salads,...starters and desserts are uninspired but cobbled together topped by lofty titles. Onions & olives had raw onions, Over roasted potatoes had half-cooked potato slivers. their creamy soups were full of refined flour and desserts were basic. After reporting my feedback towards the end of our stay, we were bombarded by their resort manager, PR, Reception staff, Executive chef etc..wanting to know more. But, later, we found out from other friends who have been there 2 years ago that it was bad then as well. I think the chef and the culinary team either lack exposure or technique or involvement or all of the above. This is something they must get right...but, it will demand a complete refresh of their food offering. And, oh, they should refresh their cutlery/crockery as well...plates are so small and cramped while their flatware is oversized...Hmmm. Their founder/owner Shruthi Shibulal (infosys connection) has gourmet ventures in Bangalore but, that has not distilled to the resort yet.More

I went to this place saturday with my family and friends.. I had my baby that 1.8 years old. First I got the confirmation over phone and they said, it is okie. So we went ther for lunch. but the moment we arrived there, they...begain sayin that babies below 7 years are not allowed. Our 3 hours were wasted. Moreover the staff was very much rude and unprofessional. They behaved like some road side romeos.. And then after waiting and waiting, I had to take a a decision and we left that place.. I suggest people either forget that place or STOP reproduction of babies.. RegardsMore

It was on 28th May 2016 when I was in Coorg and my friends suggested to have lunch in The Tamara restaurant. We were 6 adults and one 2 year infant. My friend had booked the table over the phone and the lady who picked...up the phone confirmed that we can visit the place with the 2 year old kid. We drove almost 30-35 km to reach this place at 2 PM. Upon reaching there, the lady who had given us the confirmation said that kids are not allowed at the restaurant and they wont be able to provide us a table. we even talked to her manager Aadish Shah and one more staff at the reception(who was really rude). None of them apologized for their mistake. The discussion went on for around 45 minutes, but they didn't agree to serve us food. The hotel staff was so adamant and rude.I don't know what kind of 5 star restaurant is this (or what kind activity goes in here) where children are not allowed and why did they give the confirmation over the phone if they have such strict rules. They were so inflexible to arrange for one table. I have had the worst experience of life in a hotel that day and it was so insulting. I wish I could give negative rating for the kind of service and behavior we received that day from the hotel staff.More

I loved 'The Falls'! I am falling short of words to explain how much I enjoyed there as I cannot write what I experienced there. It serves everything you would like to have and if you want to have something which is not there on...menu, you can request the chef. We wanted to have caramel custard and pizza and the chef prepared it for us :). It was too good!!! Overall an incredible experience!!!More
