We admired the Blue Shed in the morning and noted the opening hours, hoping to have an opportunity to eat there. It worked out perfectly the next day, and we found the atmosphere, view, and food completely to our liking. We were the only grey-haired people there at that time, but we loved it as much as the younger people.... More

Popped in on strength of TA reviews, and were well impressed. There is a good range of sandwiches, soup, cakes and drinks, a small toilet and a stunning view! Every table had a puzzle provided and it was fun watching various attempts (some more easily solved than others!) The owners were so welcoming and rushed to find maps/offer advice to... More

What a fab find this was, great coffee too. We only had coffee but the menu looked great for such a small place. Very friendly owners, who stayed open 30 minutes past closing time just so my daughter could finish her puzzle! Well worth stopping by if you are in the area.

This is a superb little cafe, I stop here on my way past every time I can. The views at any time of the year are astonishing, the coffee and tea is great, the sandwiches and cakes are lovely and the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended to anyone passing by, take a breather from the driving/cycling/walking and... More

Great gifts and souvenirs, good refreshments and food, the best location. What's not to like. Also a big fan of Becky Smith's jewellery.

We looked for this 'stop' on the way to Elgol and even though October we were fortunate with very good weather, this proved an excellent place for snacks , soups and lovely cakes. Coffee's good, too. The owners were so welcoming and made this a destination to head for again. Do try to visit if you are n the area,... More

Rather unexpected on the way to Elgol, the Blue Shed Cafe provides a welcome break with friendly service, snacks and drinks, tables outside to take in the view, or inside if it's chilly,

Outstanding café - wholesome cakes and light lunches and drinks with wonderful views and friendly service - do not miss a visit to this super café in Torrin. The people who own and run this place seem to care about value and being friendly - they even brought the dog a drink whilst we sat outside.....nice.....

Wasn't expecting to find a gem of a place like this, but very glad we stopped for a late lunch. It is on one of the best drives on the Island and in a spectacular location with the splendid views. The food, well it was really good, tasty and fresh. Very friendly owners and staff. Interesting puzzles ! Local artwork... More
