We have been here a few times and it is a lovely place for food and a good standard. However, the row of permanent noisy male drinkers at the bar as you go in, at what seems like any time of the day, is very off putting. They are very noisy and intimidating esp' if you are trying to have... More

The Inn looks quaint and very inviting and is near Seamus Heaney's grave and Mossbawn. However, service is very slow and haphazard. We visited on a Sunday lunchtime and there was a set lunch, apparently. We opted for the a la carte menu and it was difficult to get consistent service. The food was okay. However, at the end of... I had a great night out in this pub. Unique best describes it. The old bar and it's toilets are a must see.

Had a meal on Saturday night did not book but they were able to fit us in. My husband had steak which was done exactly as he requested , I had the thatch sandwich which had enough chicken and steak for two people . The meal was excellent and was keenly priced will definitely be back.

My husband and I dined here on New Year's Eve evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Firstly the service was impeccable. For starters we chose vegetable soup and duck spring rolls. The soup was flavoursome and the spring rolls were divine. I took the seabass fillet which was beautiful and my husband opted for a sirloin steak with chips and... More

My husband and I enjoyed a 2 and 3 course Sunday lunch here at the end of July. I had caesar salad and salmon. He had soup and turkey and ham. The food was fantastic. The service was great. My only gripe is that I was charged £5.25 for a special coffee which I feel is too much for a... More

Had a meal there last week with my partner the food was lovely and very well priced. And nothing like on a cold day walking into a bar where the home fire is burning and the smell of burning turf hits you such a homely place.

Most popular bar scene with limited seating on the week that we visited. Historic place, with good food and a lively bar scene.
