I've been to The Squirrel a couple of times now and it's always a memorable day/night. You have to try the food - their Full English is particularly good. Plus an ever changing selection of ales and some interesting gins to try. If you're visiting...More

Had a lovely meal on the way home. This place is about half way between the bottom and top of the A3 and literally a minute off the A3. When hardly anywhere was still serving food on a Sunday evening this place was a great...More

My friends and I met at this delightful pub for lunch and a catchup. Although midweek, it was pleasantly busy and obviously a favourite with many ! The atmosphere was warm and seating comfortable and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. We relaxed and chatted...More

The old Squirrel has been slowly improving over the last few years. For a long time it was a pub to just drive past but now it a fine location for lunch, drinks or dinner. Plus it never seems that busy as if most people...More

Paul and Gwyneth (owners) have recently taken over the management of The Squirrel and have put a lot of effort into creating something very special that will rival any of the other pubs around the area. The food is fantastic, we have great chefs that produce a great food offering. The gardens look fantastic, with blooms of flowers all over the place. We have created a band stand area, that is great for parties, BBQ`s or just somewhere to sit and eat. We now have a garden BBQ area as well. The pub has been refurbished and looks great,!! We also have a great range of ales, wines, bar snacks and soft drinks available and have 8 ensuite letting rooms from as little as £55
